Maybe I'm nuts (don't answer that!) but it looks like virtually all the warm-toned hardware this fall is "brass" (instead of gold,) however, the brass looks (to my eye) like shiny gold. Anyone know more, or even better, has anyone received any bag with brass hardware??

It is a third option on BEC (in addition to gold) so I presumed they were different colors. I, too, would like this to be clarified and to see a comparison between gold and brass if they are actually different.

I am hoping it is less shiny than the gold! The gold is pretty, but a bit more chic and less casual, and also makes me feel like I'm asking to be mugged.
