Received my Root Enchant Me. Didn't know what to expect. Would it be too big? etc. Would I like the stitching...? The stitching is brilliant. the stitching makes it look totally luxe and divine. It is a million dollar touch.
Jackie has designed a perfect hobo. The regular size is normal. Big enough to look stylishly good and hold everything, with leather smooshy enough to collapse into nothing, so it can melt onto your lap when you're sitting somewhere and need for your bag to disappear. It is totally light. It is easy to find everything, it's all in sight. It is a perfectly simple bag like the Hold Me in this regard. This is a bag that I will keep forever as a classic hobo. Will look fab with a trench coat...will look great with sweater and jeans...will look totally chic as a business bag. Root is the kind of brown that goes with black, so it goes with everything. I'm so impressed with the proportions of this bag. A great height, width, drop on the handle. Easy to get in and out of. Comfy to carry on the shoulder. As always, when you get a BE bag, let the leather relax for a few days. I feel, "How could have I lived so long without this hobo?" I am truly enchanted. I know...pictures. Soon. Still have trouble posting pix, and have to do the photo bucket thing and its a drag. Unless someone wants to pm me with technobumpkin instructions on how to post and resize my pix, because it says they are always too big. |

LOL! It's great to have all these enchanted, surprised, beautiful and rocked people on our BE forum again! It was so quiet.....
I cannot wait to see your pics, TG! If you put your pics on photobucket you can resize them there in the edit feature. In the mean time, your review is very helpful! I love the look of the bag but wonder if it is indeed a style for me and worry about the strap slipping! It sounds great though! |

I have to say that the Root color -- has the best attributes of BE Matte Choco leather color with the pebbled texture. It is WONDERFUL. A true, dark brown.
The pix of Enchant Me on the BE website don't do justice to this bag. I have my bag filled with my usual stuff, and the way it slouches (instead of puffs out to stand up as in the BE pix, filled with tissue stuffing) -- really showcases the long leather strands and the stitching. The stitching is AMAZING. And the chunky stitched handle...just divine! |

TG that sounds wonderful. Will you be posting pictures? I am waiting for my IB Midi in Root and just love seeing pictures of this leather/color.

^^^hipnycmom--- I also got an IB Midi in Port...but that's a whole different thread! I will post pix. Root is indescribably delicious -- so deep, so rich, so browny black.

TG! I think you sealed the deal for me when you said its a hobo but you can see everything in it like a Hold Me.
I feel a regular Port Enchant Me whispering my name. I think the June sale can't come fast enough though as I am totally broke after paying for yet another bag today. |
