But, go on the BE website and you'll see both my bags. The Root is incredible -- a true dark brown, very light in weight. The Port is deep and amazing. xxxooo
I did not want to push you, TG, I meant it more like a joke :-)

This is a Root Enchant Me with a Port IB Midi so you can compare the colors.

Thanks for the pics! I think it looks lovely with the two zips undone like that - I wasn't too keen on the tassels hanging off the edges (as when shut) but hanging in the middle like in your photo looks amazing. Do you believe the flaps over the outer pockets overhang enough that you could leave them unzipped?

I leave them unzipped usually, and it is nice and snug. I put my car keys in one pocket, the minute I get out of the car. I hate digging in the bottom of my purse for car keys.

In the other zip, I keep a lipgloss and a comb, for quick touch ups.

I think the stitching and the tassles really make this hobo CHIC!!! And very luxe looking.

I'm pleased to hear that, it looks so pretty with the pockets open.

Gorgeous! I love Root. I have a deposit I paid a while back that I've been moving to 5 million different bags since then, and I think I have finally decided on a Root WTM Messenger for early in the year. I just love this colour! Congrats!

Very nice TG. Looks like you really know how to pick 'em!

Port is such a rich colour too.

Nice bags! I like these two colours a lot. I'm surprised that the midi is so large compared to the EM! It looks also an "easy" bag.
How are you feelings about th two zipper openings ? Will it help you to organize better ?

^^^^Ôh, I just read about the Midi on the other thread of yours! Like the reasonings behind having two compartments...

When I first read about the IB's two compartments, I didn't think I would like it. Because I thought I would get confused over what was in each compartment. But the IB is designed so that you dont' forget or confuse the two compartments. It has to do with the pockets on each side... And now, given the whole idea of two separate compartments so that you're not digging through everything as you do in a tote, it is really a great bag.

Good to know! I'm the type just having all my stuff jumbled together..lol...so I was a bit hesitant even thinking about a bag with two compartments, since I most likely would get ever so frustrated about remembering where what was!

But now I'm rethinking..and would like to know more how it works , when you've used the bag a bit ..

I just want to add a note to you all, and especially to Lovebags, who loves her Purple Pebbled Hold Me so much...

...The combination of pebbled leather -- so thin, so light, so slouchy soft, with the classic hobo shape IS HEAVEN. Enchant Me is as wonderful as the pebbled Hold Me, but it is a shoulder hobo. It is light, moldable and easy to use. I'm in pebble heaven.
