Very nice! I have a dark purple glossy PM and just love it.

As for the size, it's quite large. But, I happen to love oversized bags. I hope you get used to it. My motto is always try it for at least a week or two. I almost made an impulse decision to sell my SPM upon first glance and that would've been my biggest BE mistake. It's my favorite now.

VanBod, I see what you mean about the purple glossy being less saturated than the Aubergine, but IMO it's just as beautiful.
I love the leather's distressed look and shine, and the bag looks fabulous on you. Kongratz!

Van Bod..this leather is tough..more than the Aubergine....personally, I really like this type (similar to the Burnt Orange and Mustard Yellow)

Congrats! It's very similar to the Aubergine (I love the Aubergine too), but has more variations in the leather which I think give it character. I think this will be even more beautiful when it breaks in.

I love the way the leather has that crazed look. The colour is also rather subtle and unusual. I think that I may prefer this to the Aubergine.

Thanks all!

The sun came out briefly today and the dark purple looked so lovely! It has a slighty violet cast to it (at least to my mind) and was really pretty. I wore the bag out and it is so comfortable, lies close to the body.

I think this one is a keeper!

that is really pretty! i had an aubergine bag for a bit, which is a lovely purple, but i really like the dark purple glossy too. it reminds me of bal's raisin colour esp with the distressing.
