Occasionally I even will think it tore but so far whenever this happens I'm able to use my sharp scissors to cut away (very carefully) the fray.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have suggestions? It doesn't happen every time I use the zipper just at random. But, I"m worried the next time it will tear the lining and then I'm in trouble.
Yes, I have had this problem on a large Hug Me that I bespoked. I posted pics in thread a while back. The lining was sewn in too large in one section. I had to send my brand new bag to Italy for repairs. I think you should get it taken care of properly before it starts to look raggedy or unravels.

One of my QC issues:

I had a Love Me Midi in choco matte with about 3 X scars into the leather on the front. In addition, this bag came with corner scuffs on all 4 corners.

That looks like something that would end up being sold as 'Seconds' at an Outlet. Were you offered a significant price reduction or an exchange?

Another QC issue:
Pewter Love Me Midi had an seam unraveling and an area where the stitching was sewn and the thread taken out and then resewn. It left holes in the leather.

After many emails back and forth, I was offered both and I elected to keep it for a discount.

I hope that the same applied to the bag with the re-stitched seam (including a free repair and shipping)?

Large Hug Me lining was too large in one area and it got stuck in the zipper. I had to send this bag back to be repaired.

I was told by the owner that a new bag was being made and sent out for me, no discount. The holes bother me more than the sewn coming undone.

^^^ You really have had some bad luck with your bags. I don't blame you one bit for being irritated by it all.

I agree - it would be hard accept a bag with scars like that. I hope that the replacement bag is gorgeous and perfect.

I have. I'm kinda quiet. I don't really like to complain out loud or hurt people's feelings but we are spending a lot of money on this brand and we should be able to discuss when we have issues. I do appreciate that we can come onto this thread and post our problems. Thank you bring that to the board, Suzi. You are a terrific mod.

Ah, thank you. I just feel so bad for you because one bag problem would be frustrating, but three would just be unreal!

I feel terrible for you camommyof3. What a mess, I'd have been sooo upset.

On a personal note, I think you've been brilliant coming on here and telling us of your issues - it can't have been easy, but I for one appreciate it very much, and I'm sure others do too. No-one likes to admit they have a problem with their bag (well, I suppose some are better at it than others, but like you, many keep their problems to themselves - nothing wrong with that. But when someones shelling out what I perceive to be a considerable amount of cash, you want to know warts and all imo, and BE should be able to take it on the chin, cope and put it right and make it better for all and themselves in the future).

^^ Thanks Cornflower Blue. My overall experience has been frustrating and time consuming. I hope the QC improves.

hi i'm sorry your experience wasn't a good one to date!
on the positive side, i just wanted to say thank you to Jackie and all the BE team, including the atelier... when i received my Orange maxi Hold Me bespoke, i'd used it for about half a day and noticed a problem with the bag, so emailed Jackie and sent photos. I sent the bag back to the atelier the following day, and about a week - 10 days later the bag arrived back with me, in perfect order. i was very impressed with the speed everything was sorted, especially as i know the orange HM's were such a big order.
