Oh I don't want them to stop producing crystal tags!!! NOOO! They could just change the crystals..or I mean the setting, so that the stone is attached with metal surrounding it so it doesn't fit to fall out.. Hope you understood my language

That's exactly what I was describing for my old tags! The metal clasp hole appears smaller than the crystals, so even though the glue is loose and the crystals jiggle about, they don't fall out.

Perhaps if I banged the tags in an unfortunate position this would cause my crystals to fall out, but when I was moving the crystals back and forwards with my fingernail i could not dislodge them from the metal clasp, even when I did this holding the tag upsidedown.

Exactly! Maybe mine are of the new kind? If one fell out this easy..? I mentioned the lady at BE how old my bag is..about 9-10 months.. Does anyone know when they switched methods? Does anyone have pics of the 2 different crystal settings? :)

I'm worried the other one will also fall out :( My bag has been in her sleeper since..shame..

I am still sans camera. I have a very poor camera phone with which I took some very (very) poor photos....against a particularly bad choice of background! Too lazy to get up off the sofa. Nonetheless, here they are (old/old/new). The new crystals seem to be stuck actually on top of the metal clasp, and I believe I could pry them off with my fingernail. In fact, I can see underneath one of the crystals where a little surplus glue has been applied when securing it to the metal. The old crystals were stuck underneath the lip of the metal clasp.
