Thanks for tipping me off - they have got my funds on hold too - I hate them to bits.

I am not trying to be difficult or unreasonable, but the system just sucks. The CS guy was so rude on the phone and almost like he was reading a canned script.

Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

Hopefully it gets resolved! I refrained from purchasing items during this sale because of the issues about the payment system (probably a good thing, in retrospect). As someone who does not possess a driver's license and is hesitant to divulge bank statements/SSN etc., I would wonder if I would even meet the identity criteria to use moneybookers.

We were asked for verification because we either exceeded limits or changed card numbers so it just triggered the verification process earlier.

I got email confirmations from BE on all three of my earlier orders. The last order would not go through.

BUT when I called Moneybookers ALL of my orders are on hold pending further verification. So just because it processed it and you got the email confirming it doesnt mean it went through (or at least it didnt in my case).

As I wrote, the purpose of my second account isn't just to purchase handbags.

I hope that this will all be sorted out on Monday and that we will get our bags as planned.

hi i'm confused..... i (hopefully) paid for my Berry matt TME with a c card and it went thru, i didn't need to use moneybookers. i thought it was cos i was based in Uk but Jenova you are too so not sure what's going on?? paypal would have been so much simpler, as i guess a lot of BE customers already buy and sell a lot and woud prob have a paypal acct. i agree, Moneybookers is another hassle most of us don't need.
If it is a genuine problem for people though i think we should let Jackie know... Fair enough if it has been bought in to combat fraud, but to be honet i'm lucky and if anything looks suspicious on my c card my bank always ring and query it with me in person.....i'm sure Jackie would hate it if it a) put us off buying or b) tainted out view of the brand.... just my thoughts xx

ooh dear on the sale front - have 3 bags arriving tomorrow from LL sale -
Kiwi Hold Me
charcoal matt Hold me
navy glossy BMM
also ordered berry matte TME off sale...
now dithering about another bag - it's not that i NEED one but i've been suckered in thinking its good value and i would regret it if i didn't .... so, the question is what to buy?

i'm dithering between the apple WTM midi, the plum crash MMS midi or the turquoise TME but not sure how usable all these colours are (esp in rainy UK) any opinions.. i also love the pink TMA, but to be honest tend to veer towards plum and brown tones rather than red or pinks... help.....

I don't see why it should taint anyone's view of the brand. The bags are lovely, the sale prices are great and Jackie has been incredibly helpful to me today.

Hi ladies

I've been lured over by the wicked enabling Jenova and I see a couple of other familiar faces from the Mulberry form on here

I'm tempted by the midi WTM, does anyone know if these bags come with the extra straps? I saw that the larger sized one did not appear to.

Glad so many of you have taken advantage of the great reductions!

I believe they do usually come with the messenger strap... however, i did see one I think that explicitly said it did not have a messenger strap, but I can't remember which it was.

Same here, but a VISA. I am so confused. I have not been contacted by Moneybookers and didn't get any sort of request to identify myself or add info. I didn't sign up for an account either before buying. It just had me enter the card on BE's site, then it processed for like 10 seconds and said something about the payment agency it was going through was Moneybookers. But, I was never directed to that site, asked for more info, anything like that. I am puzzled.
