Rose - Do you have an update on when the Dark Grey LM/LM Midi bags will be sent out? I've read a few updates from other people saying that they are just about ready, but that's been going on for several weeks now.

Can you tell that I really want my bag?

It is a gorgeous bag so I could see why you would be excited! x

Please do enjoy your new lovely! xo

Rose - could you give an idea of whether you will be getting anymore pewter bags in stock, particularly the WTM midi? The website has shown them out of stock for a while now and I don't know whether to join another bespoke or just wait and wait....

Reallly want a WTM midi in pewter. (I'm sure there are others who had set their heart on this bag as well )

Ms. Numnut, I've got your pewter swatch all ready to take to the post office and on its way to you. I've looked at this color in sunlight and in the house. Morning, noon, and night. Sometimes it looks like Choco Crash (my husband thought it was the Choco Crash.) But then it can also look black in evening light. I put my grandmother's heavy yellow gold bracelet on top of it, and I saw gold highlights in it. Then I put some silver spoons on it, and it looked like tarnished silver. It's like the damn thing changes colors depending on whatever it's next to. It's rich and beautiful and fickle. It really doesn't know what colors it is, but depends on what it's close to. It looked pretty when I held it to my red hair, but it looked beautiful next to my husbands black hair. There's like brown and gold and silver in it, and it keeps changing color. On my green sofa, I swear I saw green in it. I think I am convinced that pewter is like a chameleon lizard. Blends with whatever color it's near. I never thought I would like a bag that could be silvery because I only wear yellow gold, and silver doesn't look right next to my skin. But this color is so strange and unique. I don't know how to tell you. I even put it next to my dogs - one a white/creamy/fawn dog, one a bronzy/mahogany dog, and one a black dog. It looked warm and rich next to all the different dog hair. I laid it in a really green plant. The rusty-red of my kitchen cabinets. I put it on my wood floor. Nothing I put it with looked off. It's so rich and strange that it just kind of, sort of whispered a connection with everything I tried it with. It will be on its way to you tomorrow. I do feel it's a bag that will be happy with whatever you pair it with, as it's myriad of colors just seem to mesh with whatever it's near. Very difficult to explain. You'll see what I mean when you get it.

Moonfancy, thank you so much for taking time out to describe in such depts, your total infatuation with pewter!

I think this must be the bag for me. I don't really need much persuasion now, just need to start a campaign to lobby for pewter bags to be back in stock! Who else wants a pewter bag??? Maybe BE will listen to us?

I will sign my name to the pewter petition, Num. I can't afford another bag right now, as I've already got the LM mottled gold bespoke going, but it would be comforting to know that BE can/will get more pewter!

Hello!

Yes, pewter crash is an amazing leather, one that we all very much love here at BE! Maya is our most recent fan of this leather. x

We have just made the spring collection so I do not know of plans to add this pewter style. We are of course always happy to make any bag you like by individual bespoke or you might let us know if you wish to join the pewter LM/LM Midi/LM Mini group for the special group pricing. These lovelies are in production but we might still be able to add if we contact the workshop very soon. Pewter crash in the LM styles are gorgeous and really one of my favourites!

xx Rose

Hello!

We do have pewter crash in stock and can always make an individual bespoke order for any style you may fancy or you might let us know if we should check to add anyone to the group pewter LM bespoke. It is a lovely colour so I can very much understand the interest! x

Wishes for a lovely weekend everyone!

xx Rose

Rose & Jackie,

I already posted this as a regular thread so please forgive the double post - but wanted to ask you this question as well.

I fondled some Prada deerskin today (for the first time) and it was just luscious! My question is how does it compare to BE's cervo lux? Is it identical or just similar? I know that the leathers are both supplied from the same place. But I thought that someone had posted the BE cervo is cow and not deer. If that's the case, they can't be the same right?

I was just wondering!

Thanks :)

Hello!

I am not so familiar with Prada leather but I could tell you that our cervo leathers are cow and not deer. They are lovely and soft, have a beautiful bit of gloss, and wear tremendously well. A bit thicker then deer but also a bit more durable whilst so easy to wear.

Have a fantastic week!

Rose xoxo
