Tropical Gal-I'm so enjoying your blog-you're an excellent writer. I read it daily. I haven't posted comments because I have to join their link...so know that I am "hitting" on it and learning lots of new things. The soup recipes are great!

I can so relate to your having the first one off to college-my youngest will be a senior in college next year-where have my babies gone?
Thanks for starting this thread-it's so nice to put a face with the people we chat with online!

sara999 whereabouts in London do you live? I live in the north area.

I only have a purple LMM, but I'm dying for a tan IM. Can't really afford to buy it now, but it's risky to wait until the sale...oh god!

I discovered BE when Jackie was doing the purse monthly giveaway and I saw the purple glossy on the site and knew I had to have it! It's just so pretty

Hey everyone - I'm not new to TPF, but am new to the BE forum. I first saw and loved the BE's when they had the giveaway in March. I really wanted a TMA, but was in full Bal obsession then and had just bought several of those and as you know they are not cheap! So, I waited on the BE (got a little re-obsessed w/ Coach in the meantime too) and the other day, I got Jackie's email about the Fall bags and decided to check out the forum again to get more info. Well, I'd wanted the TMA when I first saw it, but of course, I missed out on what has turned out to be the very last TMA anywhere - there are no samples even (yes, I begged at BE

. I then started looking at the other bags and really got sold on the SM (thanks Val) - now am on the list for a Tan bespoke (please everyone - jump on that list - we want that bag!) and I just ordered a SM in Black Crash on Monday! I'll post pics when I get it - I'm sure I'll love it from what I'm hearing - I love the rocker chic look and a slouchy bag and it looks to be both! Thanks to everyone on this board for your help as well!

Welcome Suzeee! I posted on another thread (fall order thread) that please post pix of your Black Crash Stroke Me! It is a fabulous, fabulous bag in a gorgeous leather.

It is sad there are no TMA's...but I think they will show up on eBay. In fact, isn't there one on ebay now? Or at Ann's Fabulous Finds? But don't worry -- Jackie will design some more fab bags -- and when she brings the "old" bags back...we'll all be sooo happy! But for now, can't wait to see fall bags IRL.

Hi everyone (waves)!!

I've been on the PF for a while and my favorite bags so far are Balenciaga, Chloe and YSL...but I've recently discovered BE back when you guys were first posting in the "Handbags and Purses" subforum before this one was created and have gotten intrigued with/hooked on BE!

I just got a purple LM with silver hardware and have to say it's a great bag!!! GREAT color and the workmanship is excellent. I also like the size of this bag and versatility with the variety of pockes/compartments. The leather is really top notch and I don't feel like I have to "baby" this bag like some of the Bals I have (you Bal gals know what I mean!)

I'll take some pics of my LM to share soon!!

Right now I'm trying to learn the different styles by their abbreviations and leathers - it's another language!!

I'm thinking a Stroke Me (SM

) is next for me...I love RED bags, do you girls have recommendations for a bright red color??

Hi Redney! WELCOME!!! Wow, you got a great bag: the Purple Love Me. WOW! What a way to enter the Belen Echandia world!

Apparently, the gals tell me that the Stroke Me is about to be discontinued for awhile...to make room for new models...so if you want one, act fast. Or take your chances in the hopefully June sale.

There is a Red Hold Me and a Red Clutch Me. A Red Be Mine. Ladies, any other red bags for our new friend?
