I thought it was supposed to be the one in the top pic camommyof3 just posted. Cilifene's looks more straight up purple.

I thought it was a wine that tended to be more pinky/purply of a wine, not a red/dark red wine version (which I already have in a couple of bags already). the top pic looks purply wine to me.

I agree that it will be insanely gorgeous if Jackie says so. I'm starting to totally trust her as so many others before me do.

How exciting. I think you should be fine. Jackie mentioned to me that you have until April 1'st to order this bag.

Congrats on your first BE purchase. I have to warn you though. I doubt this will be your last BE. Once you receive one then it's all over!

I am tempted by this bag-I love my Hug Me's and I think this one would be divine! Thanks Lovebags for the info on having until April 1st to order the bag-that gives me time to decide on lining/hw/and if I want the straps lengthened or the original length.

Question-what do you all think of the regular with the longer straps? I wonder if it will look strange since this is a smaller bag? If I was to lengthen them, maybe I would go an inch, but I wonder about 2 (am I just being anal?)

And then I wonder-what if Jackie somehow put tasteful D rings on either end of the hug me (attached to the end of the zipper areas). Would this make the messenger strap situation work a little better? Just a thought.

Have you asked Jackie about this? I seem to remember that she told someone else that she wouldn't be willing to do this because it would work right for that style.

I haven't asked her, it was just an idea I had. Thank you Jenova for remembering what she had said about it (this helps me to not ask her questions that have already been asked!)

I have to agree that the "D" rings on the sides of the bags wouldn't work particularly with this cervo leather. It just just collapse the bag and make it look too much like a big fat "U" shaped sausage.

Not sure if there is a solution to the messenger strap problem.

^^Ah well, I dont mind how my messenger strap attaches to my regular HM's, I just thought maybe this *may* work but after thinking about it more ITA with the U-shaped sausage look. Not a good thing!

Susan, I don't think you'd be disappointed if you joined this bespoke. I keep returning to my large black Hug Me and I cannot wait to get this one.

Think about it.

Susan: Rose told me they make the handles longer if requested and it doesn't cost extra!

Sorry to ask but are there 3 sizes in the hug me?

Susan-when I asked Jackie about longer straps she said it was an additional $50. So you might want to clarify this before you have additional charges that you were not notified of (speaking from experience!)

Well, it's official! I'm IN! WOOOhoooo!

I am getting the regular size HM-Light blue lining, Silver HW!!!!

Vixen-I asked Rose about the straps and you are right, any changes to the current pattern (or strap length) would be $45.00 (EXCEPT for returning to the original strap length-that is no charge). So you can either get your Hug Me with the original length straps or the current 2" longer ones without incurring any additional cost.
