I"m STILL shocked on the resale value over BE handbags. Your lucky if you receive half your money back.

I guess that's a good thing in many respects. It will keep me out of trouble this fall that's for certain!

And maybe ladies are selling now to get ready for all their fall purchases? Just a thought as I'm really perplexed with all the lovely BE's being sold lately. Maybe some are outgrowing the designs/line and ready for new!

I think the new styles arriving today should be nice timing.

^I've tried to sell one once, and I gave up when it didn't move at slightly over 1/3 what I paid. I give them away to friends now.

I don't know why other people sell their bags, or why there are so many up right now. I only speak for myself, but when it comes to bags, I have the attention span of a cute, furry chipmunk. There are very few that grab me long-term. After a few months or so, I'm almost always ready to rehome. That won't happen with my pewter crash, fuchsia, or black pebbled LMs though. My black pebbled HM seems immune to boredom too.

I'm the same. My attention span is short and I am fickle! I love 'em and leave 'em! I always say it's a good thing I'm not the same with husbands! (I've kept one for 22 years now! ) But after taking quite a few loses in the past few months I've slowed down and a lot of my collection are now bags that I've gotten for under $200 which I've found myself more content with which I find odd! Except for my Clementine Hold Me. It's currently the biggest splurge in my collection and I cannot imagine parting with it! I'll have a dark purple matte something by year's end too but I've longed for that particular leather for a long time now!

ETA: Has anyone added this? I wish I could do it but I gotta stay focused on DPM!

I hear ya re selling bags!

Which black pebbled do you love the hug me or hold?

I only have a handful of BE handbags in my collection and I agree with you about those favorites being immune to boredom! As a matter of fact, I love my weekender and spm the more I use them.

My wtm's aren't going anywhere either.

But, it's still an eye opener to be careful in buying handbags re resale. I"m very selective now.

I have the Hug Me. I've never bought the Hold Me. If I'm going with that style, I skip the Hold Me and jget the Hermes Picotin instead.

ETA: My apologies. I realize I'm chatting in a post thread. I will stop now and leave the thread back to topic. Sorry all.
