Is it to do with the VAT I wonder?

I tend to use Reuters currency converter when I'm converting dollars to pounds.

I recall a post from Jackie awhile back that basically saide the pricing for the US is different than the pricing for GB, in part due to VAT in part due to fluctuations in currency exchange. I don't believe they use a flat pounds to USD exchange.

I was sussing out if US or GBP prices were cheaper. I'm not the US or the UK making it a double conversion depending on the value of my local currency. Just the bargain shopper in me expressing herself!...can't help it.

I often use XE.com for conversion information.

Ladies, I need your help.

Are the Spring 2009 bags (not yet on be.com) considered to be bespoke?

No , these bags are considered being a part of the new Spring collection, soon to become public on the .com page even if one gets 10% off for the preorder.
But Jackie had an offer , that as long as these Spring bags were in production, customers could make their own "bespoke" bag for the price as on the website, and not pay the additional 20% fee.
A bespoke bag is a group order of min. 8 customers , ordering the same model of a bag ( small or large)and leather, and one also get 10% price reduction.

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I have never purchased a BE bag and would love to discover this brand. Now... why aren't any of the popular retailers (e.g. Luna Boston, Revolve Clothing, Funky lala etc) carry this brand?

^ I'm newer to BE, but some stores carry them. Muse Ten and Clutch Seattle, I believe. BE also produces a smaller amount of in stock bags than other brands and do both individual and group bespokes, so buying one is a bit different than most off the rack companies. HTH. You can buy a few bags from the BE website, but they have already sold out of quite a few spring styles on preorders, from what I recall. Hope I got that right!

Okay ladies, here's a question: if one happened to find herself in London, does BE have an actual physical store where one could shop?

:)

I am not 1000% sure, but the answer is no, I believe.

Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to walk into a store just full of BEs, though?

Thanks! I'm not going to London anytime soon, but I have friends who go regularly.

Can you imagine the heavenly scent of a BE shop?
