TG, I agree it should be 10% off the price of the regular stock as it has been in the past if i am correct. I am very tempted, but would like to know prices before writing my name on the list... |

Just got an email from Rose confirming that the group bespoke price for this is 10% off the BEC price.
I wonder why it is off the BEC price and not the regular price? I will now go check prices. More anon. |

I think that it has been 10% off the BEC Couture price for quite some time now (before the last major group bespokes).

I'm actually a bit confused the way it all happens now since the introduction of BEC tbh. I would have thought that if someone was to have no extras (eg. no leather lined handles) and was to go with the fuchsia lining, that it should be 10% off the stock price??
What I also don't understand is that the dark purple pebbled and pewter Hold Mes in stock on the BE website both are described as having leather-backed handles, as if it's now the norm? Also the cost of the purple, with the leather backed handles seems to be the same cost prior to discount as my Orange pebbled Hold Me which did not have leather-backed handles, just the standard fuchsia lining? (I think!)

Hm..... Maybe this price increase is due to the leather handles? But that still doesn't seem right to me since the handles I don't think would cost that much to equal the 10%. I can understand paying extra for a maxi and leather handles and maybe BE doesn't want to be bothered with giving people individual prices? It's just a shame for those ordering the regular size especially without the lined handles. |

Hi Everyone:
Did you take a look at BE's post on the general subforum? That the price of group bespokes is 10% off the STOCK price. So...who's in for this Root Pebbled Hold Me with fuschia lining and brass hardware? 1. Tropical Gal 2. Moonfancy |

I have been offered a job and we are negotiating my salary at the moment. If they accept my proposal, i will be able to take part in this bespoke. I am a bit bummed that the handles have to be all leather. Like CB, I love the contrasting lining...

You know Maria, I have a Hold Me without leather handles...you know, the regular one, and I have to say, the lining gets dirty and funky looking...so leather is good.
Do tell us about your job!!!!! |

I'm still a bit unclear as to whether everybody has to agree on the same handles or not within any group - I've asked a few questions on the BE News thread about it, just hope BE sees it! |

My meeting has been delayed... It'd be a job as an in-house translator for an agency. It is very close to my home, but i cant work from home, which isnt good for me with two young children and used to being as free as a bird after freelancing for 9 long years.
Does anyone know of a medicine that prevents you from laughing? I have been advised to ask for a higher amount than i am really expecting, so that we'll reach a middle-ground agreement... but i am a terrible lier and am bound to burst out laughing when i tell them "my ideal figure"... |

I always say, "I would feel comfortable with $100,000" or whatever your figure is. It is wording that you almost can't argue with, and it sounds very solid. Good luck and let us know what happens. YOU ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU ASK FOR. Women traditionally under negotiate. You be fierce, Maria!!!!

Thanks, TG... i'll use that line and will try not to chuckle... i always undernegotiate... i didnt even apply for the job, they offered the position to me and asked me to put a price tag on my freedom (reminding me to be sensible at the same time)
