Vix, I was going to get a pebbled Rock Me but changed my mind and am ordering a WTM full size in abergine!! My clementine is the regular size, not sure I can do a maxi!! LOL! I'm going to stick with regular with the dpm too! I love the size of my clementine! I'm waiting to see too if there's a possibility of a softer base so it'll slouch just a bit more!! I want it to be a big sloppy mess of a slouchy slushie pile of leather! Like a lovely puddle of grape kool-aid! Yum!

THIS is exactly what I was thinking....the more puddly pool of spilled purple leather the better!!! I am wanting a maxi with a soft bottom....hmmm....kind of how I would describe myself!

For a maxi..

I'm getting a traveller in the Purple pebbled..so what to get in the matte? Either a Rock me or/ and a Hold me!

1) vixnkitten - silver jewelry and purple panties! Leather handles as well

3) capulet - hw and lining undecided, leather handles, messenger strap, soft base (I like this idea!)

I am pondering this one but only if I manage to sell a few bags first! I love the idea of the soft bottom though it does sound naughty! I do not have a Hold Me yet.

It looks like all the bags will have to have the same lining and hardware from now on for group bespokes.

No! That hardly makes a group bespoke worth the time and effort then. Especially for a Hold Me where you only save about $40. I'm really disappointed.

Oh, that's a bummer! For this bag I'm actually not very particular about lining and hardware, but I don't think I would have joined the black pebbled TME bespoke without those options.

Hello ladies!

Good news - we ARE able to have part of the group with leather lined handles and part without. Yay!!!

However, everything else would have to be the same and we need one lining colour. If that was a sticking point I could ask them to do two, but they might say no on a group order now. Rules have changed slightly as group orders were extremely difficult for our atelier (group orders began as 8 of the exact same bag and ended up with 8 individual ones after BEC launched because I kept giving in to requests). We have had to reign that in because those kind of groups just didn’t work for any of us financially or time-wise.

I would personally recommend pink with root.

Since there is not much hardware that won’t be an issue, but I would recommend brass.

We never gave 10% AND an , it was either/or. Also, apart from when we made a mistake on the last orders, the Hold Me bag was always excluded from the complimentary AP because it was only on bags over $500.

If we gave 10%, free shipping and an AP on a Hold Me bag, the high production cost would mean that we would actually be paying for you to purchase our handbags, which is clearly not beneficial to anyone! But there is never any harm in asking of course.

I'm flexible too on hardware and lining because they aren't a big part of the bag. But is it worth it for everyone else to continue to try for a group bespoke or just BEC it.

I wish the purple matte was in stock like the purple pebbled

I'm still unclear after reading Jackie's message if it would be okay for us to choose our own lining/hardware if we agreed on something else standard like leather lined handles (which we all do so far)...is it that everything now has to be the same, or some things are customizable if we can agree on others?

This was on the main forum. It looks like leather handles will be standard and we get 10% off the stock price of $420. Versus 10% off of the BEC price of $465 with leather handles.

So we need to all agree on a lining...which would save $87 for each person when compared to the BEC price with no discount. There hasn't been clarification on whether we can include different sizes in the order yet.

We've had a lot of emails regarding groups this week. We wanted to quickly explain how things are changing as regards groups and why.

Over the summer, we had various discussions with the atelier because the groups were not working for them, financially or otherwise (or for us either).

The groups started out as a way for 8 people minimum to get a bag they wanted that was not otherwise on the site. When BEC launched, this changed a bit and each group became almost a selection of bespoke orders. This meant that each bag had to be produced individually - with the inherent costs. We have charged the bespoke price less 10% since March but it just wasn't working. The orders just took too long and cost too much for that to be viable.

And so - from now on the price of a group bag (as distinct from a bespoke bag as we know some people still call them) will be 10% of the STOCK price.

BUT. We need to go back to the original system, which is: 8 minimum orders; one lining colour decided by the group: 1 at most 2hardware choices as we know some people just can't wear gold or vice versa. No extras or changes, except messenger strap (or not) on any bag and leather-lined handles on the Hold Me bag. A true stock order.

We're sorry if this is disappointing for some, but it's just the reality we face. Our bags are expensive to produce. BEC bags are incredibly so. But on a great note, the price is lower, hope that helps.
