How does the Matte leather wear? is it ok for someone who isn't super gentle with their bags?

I own purple crash, sheen, and matte leathers. I find that the matte leather wears well for me. I do not like to set my bag on the ground, but otherwise am not careful with it. I do condition the bag when I get it and every few months so the leather doesn't dry out. The leather does mark up, but can be mostly rubbed out with a finger or with conditioning. I think that marks add to the character of the leather. And I've been using my Dark Grey Stroke Me all summer for work. But the Pewter Crash and the pebbled leathers might be able to take more of a beating and still look brand new.
As far as Pewter or the Purple Matte, I think both are gorgeous and if I wasn't trying to limit by bag purchases I would get both. But I do love the purple matte just a bit more. I always encourage people to buy what they love. |

TL - you are seriously dangerous! If this doesn't go I wish you would start one for the Love Me! I would be so in on a LM midi or mini
 I so wish I could a Hold Me irl! The base seems so wide to me. |

 Aw, you're a doll! The clementine bespoke was just meant to be so it was easy!! OK, ladies! Let's get this started! If by late Sept. or maybe early October this doesn't happen I may actually do a Love Me/midi/mini bespoke instead so this is to see where we're going! OK? I am OK with either bag because this leather is so phenomenal! ETA: Sandy, I am actually going to ask Jackie about a softer base for this one if it happens so that it'll be a bit more smooshy/slouchy. That may help soften up the base some and make it not seem so wide. Here we go! 1) tlloveshim- gold hw, dark blue lining, secret pocket, leather lined handles! |
