Great videos... I particularly like the one with the disco music... It adds a new dimension!
I'd love to hear your gorgeous British accent in the sequel...

Chica - I can't get hold of the lovinmybags, which is why I settled for the loving my bags - it's a conditioner "to moisture protect and shine - spa treatment for leather". I think it's only shiney if you buff it after, which I did a little, but not too much - as that's not the look I'm after!

On the back label it says "Cares, nourishes and proects all types of articles made of smooth leather eg handbags, shoes upholstery, garments etc Will not attack the leather. Apply with a clean cloth and allow to dry, then polish to a high shine.

The choco matt on my hug me was a bit "dry" before and this has given it the moisture quench it needed.

The video is very cool! Thanks for taking the time and sharing! Your bag does look softer and more supple after its spa treatment!

Do people commonly use Lubriderm? This is the first time I have ever heard that. I think I would be terrified.

There had been a post some time ago regarding concerns over a couple of Bal bags that had been restored by LovinMyBags --
Barbara posted a message on the Bal forum responding to the allegations and in the event you hadn't seen it I wanted to provide the link:
Im crazy, I'm rubbing off the restoration on my turq 05 work!!
Bottom line is poor communication by the individual requesting the restoration and a Bal Bag that was likely too damaged to be restored.

We all love our BE's very much and want to take good care of them. I urge everyone to use care when selecting cleaning, moisturizing and waterproofing products as leather is an organic substance with natural fibers that can break down if we use the wrong products.

Lubriderm and other high oil content products weren't meant for fine leathers. High oil content products are good for some shoes, boots, car seats and other thicker leathers, but our precious BE's are fine, delicate Italian handbag leathers that could easily be damaged if we are not careful. Long term use of these high oil content products break down the leather fibers and permanently damage many fine handbags. It's not obvious that this occurs, because it seems like the leather is conditioned, but the fibers that hold the leather together break down.

Specially formulated products like LMB (and there are others) can ensure your delicate leather investments are well protected and last over time.

Please consider this when making your choices of product.

Hi ladies :
I have just bought a black crash Hold Me and I have used it more than 15 times. I always wear hand cream and black leather gloves in winter. Anyway, the pink lining in the interior of the handles is getting some dirty.
Any suggestions in order to clean it ?
I use Loving My Bags products for the leather, but for the lining...?

Raquel,
you should have sprayed the handles before use with a waterprof spray. But now I'd recommend the powder stuff you use on carpets. First try an invisible spot to see if the colour fades or the fabric misbehaves some other way. If you can't find this, try shampoo foam, don't get the handles too wet. In any case you should protect the leather with some waterstop or leatherbalm. And then ... pray

I read some posts about the handles of the Hold me so prior to using the bag for the first time, I sprayed a little fabric protector (for furniture and carpet) on a rag, then rubbed the insides of the handle. I hope it works but I've only had my bag for about a week so it doesn't have any wear. I did spray directly on the handles, but then I worried that some of the spray may hit the leather. So far, so good!

I just noticed that the bottom corners on my purple glossy LM are getting a bit worn from use (I am really using it a lot!)...does anyone have any tricks for protecting it or preventing further wear (other than never setting it on the floor)? TIA!!
