Maria - I think they are different. I just received my "loving my bag" bottle, and it has a website on the back - it's made in Market Harborough UK!

http://www.shoestringuk.co.uk/Public...l?category=125

The smell is really pleasant, a bit floral like a handcream or shampoo...

PS I am going to try it on my choco hug me to help it break in /drape some more as it hasn't really broken in yet

I bought mine here & have only used them once, a few weeks ago and the scent lingers.

http://www.lovinmybags.com/shop.html (the have a PF discount)

I have heard it described as a sweet, cupcakey scent. I think it blends well with the smell of the leather.

Warning, if you might ever wish to sell your bags, some people seem to hate the LMB smell. There is a big row at the moment on one of the other forums about a seller of very costly second hand bags (those that are considered to be collectable) not telling people that they have been treated with LMB products. The buyers are complaining, particularly but not only the one with allergy problems, and demanding their money back.

Jenova, I feel the same way about AppleGard and other products - don't like the smell of some of the more chemical cleaners and waterproofers. I do like LMB however - the smell is mild not strong, and its more of a natural vanilla scent that goes well with the natural scent of leather. I don't know about the other product being sold out of the UK - that may have a different smell as its not the same LMB product I'm referring to.

After testing on my BE tags, I rubbed down my wine MMS with unscented Lubriderm last week! There was nothing else in the house and it was looking terribly dried out after using non-stop for a couple of weeks. Wish I had taken before and after photos because it looks fabulous!! My hands looked and felt 100% better too!

I used Apple conditioner yesterday on my matte chocolate then sprayed it with Wilson's leather protector today. It looks fabulous!

Harrycarry, I forgot about Lubriderm! I have some from my short span of owning a few bbags. I think I'll try using it next time.

So I've done my choco Hug Me with the English Loving My Bags... I thought the easiest way to see the before and after was in moving pictures...

Here's a before video - which I think shows the bag is quite stiff

http://vimeo.com/2730516

Here's an after video - it is definitely softer and conditioned... I think you can see this, you can definitely feel it, but I can't do "feel-a-vision" here...

http://vimeo.com/2730623

I can't really smell any difference on the bag - so I would give this product the thumbs up. I've just treated my Mulberry Mabel with it too, and it's reduced a couple of nail scratches.

Hope this helps...

Tarantino-Love your videos!! Very nice job !!Perhaps I should treat my bags too, they soften up a lot faster w/ treatment.

Tarentino

You are a total star - I love your crazy bag videos - particularly the voiceover and soundtrack! These 2 are really effective and you are right that the bag looks much softer after treatment. I got a really good idea of what the leather was like too.

Glad you like my handbagcam!

Yeah sorry about the soundtrack - was my husband's playlist on his ipod - I was enjoying disco music most of the morning and then it went all "housey" on me...

Any requests for the the sequel?

I think we might enjoy some Feelovision demos of the qualities of some of your other leathers.

Thanks for sharing Tarantino! Is the conditioner that you use similiar to the Lovinmybags in the states? Its nice to see the bags in 2-D. I love house music so I was enjoying the soundtrack. We want a sequel with more house music!
