Well said, Jenova... I see my love for silver hardware is trickling down your system (SHW predominates in your collection, if i am right)

I am not sure about that. I have some really lovely gold hardware bags:
  • Wine Glossy BE Love Me
  • Truffle Giant Hardware Balenciaga Brief
  • Sandstone Giant Hardware Balenciaga City
  • Fuschia Mulberry Mabel
  • Black Mulberry Mini Mabel
All my Regular Hardware Bals and my other Mulberry bags have brass rather than silver hardware. I have 3 Chloe Paddingtons with brass rather than silver locks etc.

I think that the golden toned hardware bags win out overall.

I suspect you of having some golden toned bags from other brands too. What about that Baby Paddy?

So pretty Sandy! Love the black w/ silver. My MMS is glossy grey and that looks really great w/ silver. I have a hard time imagining grey w/ gold.

Jenova- I normally prefer gold w/ really rich leathers, but the silver looks wonderful on the cobalt. I love the combo of the two. I don't think you can go wrong w/ either hardware w/ the cobalt.

In response to Jenova saying she would give her LM purple crash to the cat's home

nooooooooooooooooo -dont do it!!!! Wouldn't suit a pussycat at all.

Hmmmm I might just change the address of my house to "Home for bewildered cats!".

You are right... I seem to be only able to tolerate gold/brass hardware in Chloe handbags... The baby paddy and betty even have silver and brass hardware, which i found very shocking at first...

I suppose i could do ghw with a gorgeous simple bag in dark brown or black...

For reference: Chloe medium Betty with mixed hw (this is my fav bag EVER)

CHloe baby paddington with brass hw and silver zippers

Love it! How does the Hug Me fit on your shoulder (if at all)? There is one on Bonanzle that I saw, but I would want the strap modification done that was posted. I wonder if they'd do it w/ a bag bought second hand?

That is the one I bought! I was uncertain about the style so I thought it a good way to test the design. I thought the same as you! I love Piky1's with the gold hardware and longer strap! I do love this bag design. The two outer pockets are large and the handles is super thick and soft! Not like most rolled handles.

The strap itself is 11 inches long which will fit over my shoulder if I don't have too much in the bag. A few more inches would be perfect! I definitely want another bag in this style - with the longer strap would be perfect. What leather are you thinking Elizat?

^ there is a matte chocolate up right now that is at a great price. I prefer a little longer drop b/c I HATE a bag in my armpit (lol). I would have to do the strap modification to use it, especially w/ the East-West design.
