This thread needs a bump! I FINALLY got my tan HM after its Excellent Adventure.
The tan leather and color are just gorgeous gorgeous! I love the natural scars on it and the color has so much dimension to it (is that the word I'm looking for?). I'm still on the fence about the style because it's so different from any other bag I've had. My first inclination was to sell it, but now that I've played around with it some more I may very well keep it! I thought that the orientation of the snaps was a little bit odd, but I'm finding that with the snaps closed it has a really cute pucker - Jackie knew what she was doing! Anyway, here are my pictures! The indoor pics show how it drapes with the snaps fastened. |

What fantastic pics! Those are the most detailed pics I've seen of the Hold Me, so thank you, thank you!!
I personally think that the bag looks beautiful and is really gorgeous when closed. I've never seen a HM irl, but the way the leather sits and folds when it's closed especially, makes it look fabulous! ![]() And I love the way it looks when you carry it - it just looks naturally chic. Simple, subtle, beautiful and presumably practical! It's stunning but in a very understated way. Not many of us are used to that style of bag (except for other HM owners!) but I reckon I could get used to it pretty quickly! Sorry to go on, but I'm blown away by your pics - you've really breathed live into that Hold Me. It looks absolutely stunning and you look fabulous wearing it!

its freaking gorgeous on you girl! you have to keep it.
![]() I just got one in mustard from red direct. you are right about the snaps. i was wondering why they are the opposite way from the handles, but after playing with the bag i like the fold that it creates. its so simple and stylish and easy to wear. i know exactly what you mean about the tan leather - your last photo captures the texture so well. i am enjoying my mustard. the colour is glorious and has a sheen. it really pops. i think i am a bright colour hold me girl, i bet this looked great in red and i would love to see it in petrol or apple glossy! |

Hey Dogdoc - Those are the best pictures!
![]() I will tell you that the shape looks better and better after a while. It gets super smooshy. The base maintains it's shape, but the top gets lotts of beautiful folds.

dogdoc - Thanks for the great pictures of your HM! I'm glad that you finally received your bag. It looks great on you!
![]() I actually bought a tan SMM in March after seeing the pictures of your glossy tan SMM. Now, the pictures of your HM may help me decide whether or not to get this bag in one of the new crash leathers. I'm still not sure, so I keep going back to threads about the HM. I'm hesitating because I always buy shoulder bags, but I wouldn't wear this bag on my shoulder since I think it looks best carried by hand or on the arm. I've read comments from others that they were able to transition from shoulder bags to the HM, but I'm still undecided. Enjoy your bag! |
