Hiii Balenciaga ladies

Can I please get your opinion on the situation I am in?

Most of you guys know that Turq 08 City is like "sold out nationwide"...

So I am now considering a Turq 08 work RH (my 2nd choice and last choice)... but then I was wondering if it d be too big for me (i am 125, 5'5). i really liked how it looked on nicole richie with her 05 turq work.

I wanted a City in the first place... but since its sold out... Should I get a work... or wait until the next time they make another turquoise in the future (there will be no blue in 2009 S/S according to spring colors 09 thread)

Or should I consider getting a City with GH? I prefer silver but its sold out on Bal website... so its probably sold out nationwide too?

What should I do? Please give me your opinons...

Buy the Turq 08 work
or look for Turq 08 City GSH somewhere (dept stores)...

I d really appericate your opinions, it d help a lot. THANKS.

(p.s. i prefer to buy a brand new bag directly from dept stores/balstores etc.)

Have you tried a Work on? Did you like it on you? If not or you are unsure if you like it then I would probably continue to look for a city.

No, I havent tried on a work before... there were no dept store with a work for me to try on but I have tried on a city... with GH... it was kinda heavy... but i liked the size of city but... I prefer the RH...

I called the balenciaga Los angeles - balenciaga dont do refunds... only exchanges or store credit...

because if the work turq 08 doesnt work out for me.. then i want to wait until the next turquoise comes out in city... and i would want money back so i can get something else (non balenciaga).

it was like 3 years apart that they made a turq? last turq was 05... and now 08?

So it means like the next turq wont be for another 1-2 years?

i think they do give you cash refunds if you purchase it online...bal online and stores are separate entities..so store credit in the store won't be able to apply it for bal online shop.

ahhhh bummer! :( its gone now...a lot of people from tPF buy from her (the one selling the Turq City), she sells authentic Bbags. but, if youre not comfortable with evilbay, then i hope you're able to find one on the bal website!

yeah its gone when i got your comments... but its okay, cause im way too chicken to buy a designer bag off eBay!! i ve read somehwere on threads that fakes are getting really good!! eeek!

i d rather pay full price for brand new and for real, authentic directly from dept stores/bal stores/bal online... rather than to depend on bal girls to authenticate it for me and pay less... its not worth it.

have you bought bal bags off eBay, though?

Work bags are awesome BUT keep in mind they have no shoulder strap option, so if you like the shoulder strap of a City, you can kiss that goodbye

I think a Work would look great on you! I am similar on height to you(5'4) and really love the Work size!
