I am all about the city now that I have seen both. If you need more help, like working out different book capacities, pm me and I will give it a shot. The work is a great bag - huge and wonderful - but unless you are a skinny-mini, you are not getting the handles on your shoulder very easily. My work did fit over my shoulder, but just barely, and it made me feel like I had big, sausage arms (and maybe I do - but I don't need my bag to remind me).

And I guess I figure that between going to the gym and carrying my city by the handles every day, I will thin up and the handles will stretch out and we will meet. That will be a joyous day. But until then, I have this great shoulder strap.

You might also consider the part-time. Same shape, a bit bigger, and has a shoulder strap. I have not seen one in real life. Good luck and post post post what you get.

I love reading this thread. It's really making me want to get an LV MC wallet and Wapity. lol. Here is a pic of mine. I still had a bunch of room in my bag even though I had my gigantor HK wallet in there.

Congrats on ya new Groom wallet and cles! Almost got a Groom wallet, but then changed my mind and decided on a BV instead

Never been a fan of LV, but I'm finding the Groom line too cute!

*2 checkbooks (one if for big girl things like, bills, rent, car payments and the other is for for fun stuff..like impulse buy B bags!)
*My camera (carried in my LV MC Wapity)
*Fat Blue Chloe wallet
*Sunglasses
*Pink Razr cell
*My agenda (I will die if it ever gets lost)
*Kitchen garbadge bag (for when it rains I can put my bag in it)
*My Rouge Makeup case
*My Rose Pink coin purse
*and, a bunch of loose change that never made it into the coin purse!
...i think thats it...

On my magenta box, I have an LV wallet, Epi checkbook, and Oilily cosmetic case. My Razr phone is on the front pocket.

ummm i flew today so prepare to be shocked!

-brown cashmere cardigan
-camel moleskin stretch skirt (sounds awful but its fantastic, i've had it since i was 16 and it still looks new)

those were in there because my suitcase couldn't take any more stuff because i brought food, a bicycle basket and other related things, books, magazines and a pair of wellies in addition to what i brought with me on thursday.

-two pairs of mj aviators (different styles, i'm not a complete headcase!)
-bag of oatmeal cookies my grandmother insisted on giving me
-travel jewellery box
-paul mitchell hair wax
-fazer chocolate
-white plastic hair band
-grey/white cashmere alexander mcqueen kama sutra scarf (i prefer to call it the shagging scarf)
-beige/brown amcq skull scarf
-piece of paper saying my new visa card arrived (that's been in there for a few weeks now

-big bottle of fluoride pills
-micropore tape
-two hairbrushes
-vintage men's tweed flatcap
-disinfectant
-camera
-pens

-smythson fashion diary
-two foreign currency coin purses

umm this is why i keep my travel documents, phones, ipod and wallet in a separate small bag
