Totally agree! Hold on a while longer, sell some of your other bags...then you can enjoy your new addiction to Balenciaga (

I agree... another alternative is to sell some bags then buy BB. I'm gonna sell some of my older models and start building a BB mini family soon I hope !!

If you can afford it then I say get it. I say this because I don't want you to have to stress out over it later. You deserve to get something for yourself and its always nice to treat yourself once every while. This will be a good choice for you because you have been wanting it for so long and to finally have it will be heaven. Its a great bag and fits a whole lot of stuff. Also very stylish all year round.

Hey everyone-

Thanks so much for your replies. You all rock :) Honestly, I have been keeping my bag 'fetishes' to myself for the longest time- i'm the kind of person that would line up all of my nice bags/shoes in my closet and just swoon at them. Knowing that I am not the only person out there to want to cuddle my purchases makes me feel just a little bit more sane :)

Back to the whole Balenciaga thing, I forgot to mention in my previous post that I do have the funds saved up to buy the black city bag, so it's not like i would have to sell a kidney to get one :)

What I have decided to do in the meantime is to wait a bit until the fall and see if i can get a designer discount from Holt's (thanks to all the suggestions frm fellow canadians!). If I do end up getting it before then i will definitely post pics....

Until then, i will continue to drool over all of your bags :)

You're in the wrong place if you want us to be sensible and mature and tell you to use your hard earned money on a adult expense.
I say...a beautiful balenciaga bag can bring you many months of joy, alas, it will not be a joyful experience if you know you shouldn't have done it!

If you really love the bag, get it. You can sell it afterward once it lose its charm on you, although not as the price you pay. :( But like many have told you, it's not gonna make your life more awesome, however, it will make you feel beautiful and cool everytime you carry it. (That's what I feel though. That's why I now love carrying my Bal over any other bags. I love the cool tassle.

) Have you ever tried Evil Bay? Or RealDeal? They have something offer at a little lower price tag. Be cautious though.

Oh.. and you're not nuts. And Bal's very addictive.

I just bought an Anthracite City as my first Bbag in March, and am now soooo craving for a Raisin Work. OMG..it's super addictive just like everyone said. I couldn't believe it.!I normally bought just 1 designer bags a year.. but it's been just 4 months and I want a new one. Why why why??? Somehow buying a Bbag made me feel so good.. I'm having a dilemma myself..

I believe that you will go for your first one anyway, right? So, enjoy it!

if u think u can buy just this one and not buy anymore. then i say get it.. for me,, evrytime i buy a new bag i need a new one so its like a drug lol!!

The ONLY control I can exert on myself is to force myself to sell one to buy one. I hate selling them as much as I love buying them....

That's why I suggested selling other bags to fund Bals. Sadly for me I'm all out of other bags..
