I have a funny story to tell about my Sunday afternoon! I've never seen anyone have a BBag besides me or my mom, unless it's a fake. So anyways, me and DH went to go look around at Best Buy and I wandered around the cell phone accessories. A young woman who worked there, greeted me and asked if I needed any help and I said no thank you and went on my way. A couple minutes later, she approached me and said "Sorry I don't mean to be a stalker but is that a Bal"? It took me a couple seconds to realize that she was asking me about my 07 Plomb Day! I said "Why yes it is!" We talked for a few minutes and found out that we are both on TPF so we exchange TPF names! I even let her try my bag on! I just wanted to share my story cuz I was just excited that someone noticed my lovely BBag and that I had made a new TPF friend! At least DH didn't think I was too crazy, he was just excited for me! LOL!

That is such a nice story! I am glad that someone noticed your bag, and in the process you made a new friend!

I met my first fellow TPF-er today too! I saw a Tomato Clutch on Ebay, and noticed the seller was from my town, so we met later in the day and I bought my new clutch from her in person!

that's so cool when you meet a fellow tpf-er in person. I'm sure that it's instant connection! I have yet to meet one in Vancouver

Leslie, that is great that you could actually find someone on ebay selling Bal that lives in your town!

I tried looking for a similiar topic in the wardrobe subforum but couldn't find one so I thought I post here instead.

Does anyone know how much Balenciaga leather jackets usually go for? They are so yummy looking. I want one!!! But have yet to see one IRL and also within a certain budget.

Have you tried the Bal website? I was tempted to look there myself, but I betcha they are really expensive!

I came across this pic while googling to find out bal leather jackets. Soooo nice!!! I think it's $2150 USD. I heard Bal is including leather jackets in different colours (Black, Marine, Beige, Khaki, and Havane) for the F/W collection but not sure. The gal looks sooo trendy in the pix, notice her huge Birkin too!!!

No I got fired in April so I've kind of been avoiding tPF because of the temptation it brings with bag buying. =( I'm hoping to get a dream job next month tho! Wish me luck!
