I think the city and part time are the ones everyone goes after.

Ggh/gsh are beautiful on the cities and pt's. But if you want something more casual, the rh on cities is a great combo!

Hi Kim - welcome!
I would say that if you want a classic classic Bal bag, then you can't beat a Black City. Next up would be a Black Work. (I'm 5'3" and I love the size of the Work.) And regular hardware is considered a more classic look. Good luck! |

Thanks everyone! I still am having difficulty deciding over RH or GHW...both are very pretty! but yes I do want a classic, CLASSIC! I don't want to see it on the sale rack a few months down the road. Its either between the Work and the City, they both look like great bags, I need to do more research though. So if any of you ladies still have some more info that may help me that would be wonderful! Thanks again!

I haven't ever seen a GH bag and the sale rack, especially a few months down the road. Ever! At least not the Moto line. Has anyone else?

Are the cities, Pt's and Works all Motos? Sorry I am new to bal! as for colors, I know the obvious classic being black, how about the other colors? like Galet, Ciel, Navy....are these just seasonal or do they tend to come back every year?

Question, I've had a look through the what's in your bag thread and I was just wondering, anyone own a besace? What can you fit in it? I've pre-ordered a twiggy from Erica but I'm scared that I won't be able to fit all my stuff in it and was wondering if I should get a a hobo, day, PT or besace instead. I'm also worried about a PT being too big as well!
Thanks!

![]() Black and White are staples that come out each season. White is not always the same, sometimes more or less Ivory rather than paper white. All the other colors are said to be one time-releases. In the past few years some new colors have been similar to earlier ones, but Bal changes their names to help distinguish them. The repeated colors can be very similar, but are really never quite the same. Eggplant, Violet, Sapphire and Raisin are all slightly different shades of purple. |

Since I'm thinking of getting the PT or day instead of the twiggy now (in tempete still), do you think I should get RH or GSH? Opinions please!

Hey Leslie! I'm starting to really think I would love the PT GSH Tempete but I'm thinking I may have been a little nuts. I had the opportunity to confirm for the Day GSH in tempete and I said no....did I do the wrong thing? What happens if I cant get the PT? ARGH! This bag thing is driving me CRAZY!
LOL!

Don`t worry, get what you really want!
I love the Day, but I love PT's more. I think a Tempete GSH would be stunning! I say go and try to get on a list for one! |
