cparroyo777 - I LOVE the combo of Maldives and SGH, but I say go for the darker bals. I have the Maldives SGH coin purse (did not have enough courage to go for it in an actual Bbag), and have Apple Guarded it to death because I do not want it to get dirty. Either the Black SGH or Officier GCH (I think I am one of the few who think like you about the GCH) I think would make good choices. Let us know what you decide, and please post pics!

I would love the officier color but not sure about the GCH. It's a great risk for me if ever I decide to go for the GCH. It's not a usual giant hardware, which I like though. Black SGH got the most votes but I'm still confused!

Why are so many ppl dyeing their b-bag??? So is it still worth the $$$ to get a b-bag only to dye it later??? i'm gettng second thoughts now on getting a b-bag even though their colours are so pretty ...

avantgarde....I think a lot of us are saying that the light and pretty colors have a tendency to get dirty pretty quickly. There are many, many deeper colors that will hold up to heavy use for a longer time, and still look great. Some colors have a tendency to fade more easily also. You can research these threads and come up with some that don't seem to fade much.

Alternatively, you can buy one that will fade into a color that you will still love. I had a gorgeous Truffle, that faded from a true, rich medium brown, to a lighter caramel color. It was able to fade gracefully, and still look beautiful.

I know. It is difficult to make a choice. All, however, are good choices. Just go with what moves you the most. Good luck!!

Does anyone know whether the Twiggy is still in production for the 2009 collection??? My SA mentioned that they will not be getting any Twiggies in.

I'm sure Twiggy will still be around. The department stores have stopped carrying new ones for a few seasons, but Balenciaga stores should have them. Also Erica with hgbags did order them, but she may not have any left after pre-order.

Yes Twiggy is available as I ordered a Tempete Twiggy from HGBags which should be arriving shortly. Must just be the boutique or SA you spoke to.

Hi everyone! I have a question. I bought an 06 black work that had, imo, some scrumptious leather. I'm currently looking at an 03 ph black city with smoother leather and an 06 black city with thicker leather. Do you think any of these are great finds or should i hold out for an 05/07 city?
