"sahara In The City-the Movie Part 1

Some of you might have had a look at my very first thread on the Balenciaga boards, my post found here B Girl Novice Would You Keep Her? --"phot0's"
Maybe I had a premonition or just good old womans tuition. Call it what you want but something was wrong with this little beauty and it took me almost a week to figure it out. I was so excited when choosing my very first B bag and I even remembered to ask the SA to check to see if they had another one in stock so I wouldn't be taking the display one home with me. I checked it over at the store, and that is what amazes me, I did not notice all that was wrong with her. I have taken photos of the different things that I thought were just not right and shots of damage that was either there when I bought her or happened while I had used her 2 times through the week. Either reason is just not acceptable to me when paying this huge amount of money for a handbag.
You always remember your first and sadly I had started to bond with the lovely Sahara but knew I had only one choice and that was to put her down.So I placed her in her sleeper and made a
trip downtown, walked her into the store and handed her over. The lovely Sahara was put to rest.

OMG thats awful!! You can't cut that knot off, thats where they backstitched the piece of leather- it should be tucked under the other part. That bag is not made well and should have never passed inspection. This would be acceptable at H&M, not Balence!

Yikes, I can't believe the edge cracked like that. Hope you can find another Sahara soon.

The threads are the only thing that would make me return a bag; the cracking is inevitable and the alignment isn't noticeable.

okay now that everyone is all caught up, when I knew that I had to take the first Sahara back to the store and have her put down, I had called the store and got them to put another Sahara in the city with GSH away for me to check out and inspect more carefully then I had the first time. Alignment perfect, leather beautiful, finishing looked good (crosses her fingers)okay lets try this again. So she was wrapped up for me and home we both went. This was 6 days ago and I have been trying to bond with her a bit each day. She is very photogenic and wants to show herself off to all of you members.

So making HER FIRST debut, & me showing you all my SECOND SAHARAH IN THE CITY

I know. I am kind of embarrassed that I didn't see that the alignment was so wacky. I guess when you are excited about something, your eyes will only see what they want to see.

I wish the photos showed the true color of the Sahara's, mine and other members, the color is just not right.
