Dumb question - regular brass hardware

Is it being phased out or will most styles still be available with the "traditional" brass hardware?

It is my understanding that many of the traditional styles will still be available with the traditional hardware. Certain items like the new hobo and the flap clutch only come with the giant hardware.

read from another site that the gold hardware is supposed to be limited edition, and there's plan for the giant hardware to be made in silver!
