I have a big diversified collection, so I am all for that. Also I would like to make a point about style and color, in my opinion ,I do not think that all style of bags (no matter what designer name they are) look good in all colors for example the mui mui bow, I have seen it in black, or dark brown and even though the bag may look nice, I do not associate "bows" being those colors. Also with the new bow bags , the bows look a little more relaxed, not so bowy bowy, lol at least the one that I just received for my anniversary is like that and the bows blend into the bag, they do not stand out, perhaps because of the color it is, this can alter ones take on the overall look (picture attached following my post) the bows on it are not so uniformed.....I think of "bows" in other colors, brighter ones perhaps...just my opinion. Another example is about colors, if you have your heart set on a particular one, and the designer brand that you normally buy, does not make or you do not like their version of that particular color, that is when I start looking for that color elsewhere. For example I have been waiting for the Balenciaga black cherry and or rubise to see them, but to no avail so far,I really really wanted a bag in this type of color, so for my anniversary gift from my husband we chose the mui mui bow in Amerena, beautifu, beautiful color and really suites this style of hand bag. Anyways just some food for thought. I own the beautiful Balenciaga "Charcoal" in the Day style for you to see and also the mui mui vitello lux bow satchel in amerena . So you can compare style and color and how that plays such an important role in the over all look and feel of the bag. In my opinion the day in tourquoise that you are thinking of is more of a relaxed/casual look/feel as compared to some of your other choices.I'm not saying that I don't like it, just for me that color is pretty out there and not a color that is year round wearing. I might choose that color in something a lot smaller then the Day.
My next find that I think I will look for will be in the grey family, lighter then my Balenciaga charcoal day... I think you won't go wrong with that color for year round or a beautiful version of my bows color, that also I think you can wear year round, just make sure that it is not too deep of a wine color like burgandy or bordeaux though, those colors might be harder to pull off in warmer weather and or summer...but to each their own, your money your choice
Now my lovely new Anniversary mui mui lux bow satchel in amerena... have not even posted her on the mi mui/prada forum as of yet
In this picture my new bow reminds me of a little Japanese building...so serene and peaceful when you look at it.
The beautiful charcoal day... this has absolutley gorgeous leather and suits having giant silver hardware...IMO
This picture of my day is for color comparison against blue denim and a very very light grey color.
