Stick with Balenciaga or, if you must, pick the Prada Gauffre. I know how you feel: I "cheated" on Balenciaga with RM and, while her bags are nice, they aren't in the same league as Balenciaga or the other brands you mentioned.

Just to give you a sense of the relative "specialness" of these bags (to me, at least): I use my RM (a black MAM) often because it's stylish, classic, and roomy -- BUT it's also the kind of bag I turn to when there's a chance it might rain or if I'm going somewhere where I'm afraid of ruining my Bal.

I can't comment on the prada but I have a nikki, and a bow satchel and love them both. I haven't had quality issues with my bow satchel luckily, and I love my RM as much as my Bal. Just go with whichever bag you are the most drawn to. I think it's great to diversify!

I agree with this.

Go with what you are most drawn to. Especially when you see them in person to actually see the leather and touch it. Like Balenciaga, some bag leathers are better than others within the same brand.

I've happily diversified with some RM's that I love as much as my bbags. The leather is not an issue because the leather on the RM's that I have are gorgeous and in some cases, they are in colours that I couldn't find by Balenciaga (ie. I got the saddle colour but NOT the saddle by Balenciaga, but by RM because its such a stunning caramel colour in a meltingly soft buttery leather - basically the saddle that I was always hoping to find). Plus the lower prices makes it easier on the wallet.

Ultimately, I think its best to have a nice rounded cross section of brands and styles but like anything, its best to see and touch the bags in person to know for sure. Thats what will decide it for you. Almost instantly

I have 3 Nikki's and it took seeing them in person to know they were the ones. (I've seen Nikki's that I don't like at all).

The Miu bow satchel is cool. I had one a year ago but returned it. Its a great looking bag but I feel its look is so specific that it can date quickly and be associated with 'that Miu Miu bag with bows that every woman wanted once'

Get something with more longevity. But ultimately, get what you LOVE. Good luck!!!

my choice would be miumiu. the design is timeless.

however, i understand that there might be some quality issues with the bow.

ITA with you karenab. I think the bow satchel will date. I love it but it already looks like last year's bag. I don't feel that way about Balenciaga at all.

Don´t cheat on bbags

....personally I don´t like any of the other bags in your pics, and the only bag that would have me stray from my balenciaga path would be a Hermés JPG or maybe a Birkin...but that´s just me

I really vote for the BOW and the NIKKI! But then again, I am a MIU MIU BOW freak and I have a RM Nikki on the way but my vote is definetly for the MIU MIU BOW IN GRAPHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
