Thanks everyone! After reading some posts about the quality of newer B-bags declining and all that, I felt a little bit worried since I've purchased two bags already from this year. But having seen them IRL and touching them, I feel secure with these purchases. The leather in both bags are super soft, not dry or sandpaper-like at all. B-bags are the softest bag I've ever had and the lightest, too! And it's such a treat to have several styles and sizes that will really work for all people! I've tried other brands whose "small" bags are still actually big; whose leather bags weigh a ton even when empty; whose choice of colors are quite limited. I'm certain these two are not going to be my last!
