It's really a matter of personal preference and your style... for me,i prefer GH

I prefer RH, because I love the tassels and the feather weight. But for the Tempete color, I have to say, the Giant silver hardware is stunning.

I prefer RH on a city, GH on bigger bags like PT/Work/etc ... But like what everyone said, you can't just stop at 1 Bal!

I went thru this same dilemma, & ended up also thinking a first/only Bal should be a classic with RH. However my first Bal was a City with GH - because the big silver hardware just looked so good with Maldives, compared to it the RH looked a bit drab.

I like the GH City a lot, but yes, there are like 20 giant knobs on a small bag, it's really in your face, it's 'look at all my metal'. But it's a fun bag to wear!

However I just love Maldives & can't get the RH City out of my head... am contemplating madness, getting two Citys the same colour but with different hardware.

I had a similar problem myself. I have an anthra city in GSH coming in, but after seeing all the pics of RH, I know I'll be getting myself a RH city soon.

I love both, but if I could only pick one it would be classic RH, some days you just want to carry a lightweight bag!

I love looking at all the GH but when it comes down to it, I keep going with rh. I just like the lightness of bbags and the GH defeats that purpose for me. Plus, in the city it kindof overwhelms it. I too think the GH looks better on the bigger bags. But RH is timeless and classic. You have to decide what will work for your lifestyle, not ours.
