Default Brief - Do You Like This Style If You Own One?

Curious if brief owners like this style since the opening appears to be narrow.

Do you have any problems getting stuff in & out of the bag & finding things?

I thought my next bag would be a Step but I have seen a pre-owned Brief I like a lot but not sure if I will like the style.

Opinion?

Thanks.

I had one. Personally, I found it too big (this is from someone who loves the work). I never wore it enough to get it broken in but the shape doesn't seem as user friendly as other styles. The opening is smaller than a city or work so that's a consideration. But overall I think it depends on you and how it looks on you. I think Vanessa Hudgens looks great with her RH brief which is nicely broken in.

I have two briefs and I absolutely love the style. I love the curvy, feminine shape, and I also like that even though it is quite a large bag, it's not thick sideways, so I don't knock into things as I walk. It sits really comfortably on my shoulder and doesn't slip off. I don't find the smaller opening a problem at all, although I don't carry anything big in it like a laptop. Overall I give this style a big thumbs up.

there're some threads in the sub-forum about these 2 styles.

Tell me about the differences between the Step & the Brief

threads like this might also lend some insights to your decision-making. you can use the "search this thread" by typing in the style(s) to narrow down the results.

I own a Brief with GGH and LOVE the bag. It does fit on my shoulder and also looks great carried in the crook of the arm. I just love how it looks. The "narrower" opening doesn't bother me at all. I don't carry large things in my back just a makeup case, full-size checkbook style wallet, sunglass case, etc.

I think it's a great bag!

i have 2, one in black from 07 that i LOVE and another sitting at the UPS station down town
it's all i can do to stop myself from buying another one!!!!

the bag fits nicely against the body, holds a lot and the opening just sags down inside the bag - it really isn't as structured as it photographs. i don't find it obtrusive or small at all. it's wide yet thin at the same time and the shoulder straps fit perfectly over the shoulder without needing to be stretched... i give it a

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this style !!! I have a Black SGH Brief and I really can't think of a negative thing to say about it - I love the way it looks, the size, everything! I was a little concerned before I purchased it because a lot of people had mentioned the "narrow" opening, but to me it has never really seemed all that narrow or been bothersome.

NOT a fan. It's looks really big on me and I don't like the short straps up under my arm. It's really wide and flat, not attractive on me but it looks good on others.

Not a fan either. I'm 5'4" and it's just too big on me.

I love it on a lot of people, but I've had two and sold two. I'm fine with some bags that are even bigger, but the brief just doesn't work on me.
