Black Cherry is this colour really as stunning IRL?

Found this GGH work on the Bal site. She is gorgeous! Is this what she looks like IRL? All the photos I have seen look so different. This one looks like it has purple undertones instead of the brown....so which one is it?

I noticed too how stunning the BC looked on their website - I wish it really was this color

!! I haven't seen it IRL yet, but I'm pretty certain it's closer to the pics we've seen posted here - very close to Grenat, but with somewhat brownish undertones.

Ummmm, seriously though, Bal needs to make the exact color that is in that photo - I would so love to have that color in WE!!

OH WOW both the Money & Work are so GORGEOUS!!! All the pics posted around here however gravitate more towards brown.

Balenciaga really needs to correct their colour representation, I mean what if you purchased it online based on those photos! I know you can get a refund but what a hassle. This colour is really similar to a colour they made in the seasonal bags actually. I saw a "polo" bag in a very similar shade but that was a SS08 colour. I'll try to get photo from the store I buy from.

i ve seen BC bags in real life and they are much browner than this pic.

i noticed too how lovely it looks on their website.. i dont think its anything like that irl =/ on the website is more like a wine color.. but irl its way more brown!

I would definitely get myself a black cherry if thats what it looks like IRL. but all the photos I've seen up here...this color isnt as red as its appear on the Bal website.

I have a gorgeous BC Day, and although I LOVE the color, mine isn't like the ones on the Bal site that you've posted, not by a long shot.

The pics on that site look like Bordeaux 2005 which Black Cherry is most definitely not. BC is much more brown/red than this Bordeaux/wine color they have pictured
