Best Black Bbag for office?

Hi everyone! Balenciaga newbie here... trying to find the perfect black bag for work (and play!). I replied to a post in the main forum with this list, but I thought it'd be smart to ask you all directly!

Here's what I'm looking for:
1) black
2) classic, but stylish - I want it to catch the eye.
3) able to work both in a legal/corporate office setting, and out for fun on the weekends
4) lightweight
5) fits comfortably on my shoulder/doesn't fall off
6) silver hardware
7) under $1000, though I'm willing to stretch to $1500.
8) I'd LOVE to find a great deal on eBay

What type of bbag would you girls recommend? (or if you have any non-Balenciaga suggestions, that would be great too) TIA!

^ good question. i'm on a similar quest. ideally the bbag could carry legal sized folders and be durable enough to wear in all weather.

work or brief i say - brief would be more comfortable to carry over the shoulder, i think. i dont know from personal experience as i dont own either.

The brief (at 18 x 14) is a little big for me, I think. But thanks for the suggestion! Keep them coming, ladies!

A Work if you will be carrying documents. Otherwise a GH PT would be more comfortable to sling over the arms.

I use my Part Time with GGH for work and it's perfect! Even fits my laptop when necessary...

Don't think you will find any of the bigger GH bags particularly lightweight. Black RH Work but you won't have silver hardware.

Black RH Work or Weekender if you need more room. Best to keep it simple. I have an 07 Work and the handles fit fine over the shoulder, and they do stretch a bit when breaking in. Laptop will fit sideways in a Work while it will only fit vertically in a Brief (bad for computer).
