It's so nice to meet everyone! I'm 21 and just graduated from my undergrad, I'm going to start law school in August. Boo! I don't think I can spend money on handbags for the next three years in law school since I'll be racking up 120k of debt.

I actually only have one Bal bag, the 08 turquoise city. I have a good collection of Chanel handbags though and my Louboutin shoes are pretty awesome too <3 I also like marc jacobs, YSL, some LVs, and rebecca minkoff! I'm also obsessed with designer jeans that lift my butt.

I have no idea what is going to happen to my love life as my boyfriend is going to get his phd at northwestern while I'm staying in los angeles to get my law degree. *sigh* any advice ladies? haha, i know, it has nothing to do with handbags.

I'm glad this thread was started - it's great to kinda get to know people a little better. I'm 28 (but for some reason I always forget that and call myself 27 when people ask my age) and I'm graduating next month from a graduate school program for video game development. My focus is on concept art, texturing, and some 3D modeling for games. I currently live in Texas (and have my whole life), but I'll probably be moving once my boyfriend or I get a job in the games industry. My boyfriend doesn't quite understand my love of designer purses, and he helps talk me out of making impulse buys. Sometimes it even works .

I'm a 20-year old college junior going to a university in Texas right now...& I don't have very much income coming in, I still need to pay for groceries and stuff, so I can only afford to have one bbag at a time...it's sad, I've been through a few...right now I have a black box that I'm loving but of course I'm always looking for something else...
& I do spend lots of time on tpf, my friends have never heard of Bal and think I'm crazy for spending that much $$ on a purse!

Nice thread!!! I'm turning 25 this year, married, stay at home mom to my soon to be 1 year-old DD---for now... I'm a Chef/Pastry Chef. I graduated as a Culinary student but I love baking, hence, I concentrated on becoming a Pastry Chef. I don't do much baking at the moment because I take care of my kid...and surf the net (during my free time of course)
I'm not a hardcore BBAG addict, I just have a knack for all things good (including Chanel, LVs, etc) hehehe.

That's funny, my bf says the same thing. He nicknames all my bags - my bals are the "nipple bags". My navy YSL Muse is called "Nightcrawler bag" because of the blue key cover hanging from the top (X-Men geek humor), and my YSL Downtown he calls "Robot Monster" because he thinks the front w/the studs looks like a robot face. He makes names for all of them.

I am 22 and don't own a Bbag but I do like looking at them. I am still in school at the u of Minnesota studying biology (which I hate!!!) but hope that one day, it'll pay for my purses. :)

I'm 28 now. I graduated with a bachelor degree in accounting and finance in the US. Then came back home to work at family business. Now I'm gladly self-employed
Bought my first bbag on Jan 2007, then stops as I usually only buy 1-2 designer handbags per year. But in mid 2008 I've started buying bbags & accessories like crazy. Now I'm quite happy with my collection

Hello ladies!!!

I'm 26 and graduating from law school in 3 weeks!!!!!! (yay!!!) I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have been a fan of bbags since day 1.

I have to admit that living in LA means that I'm a bit TOO in-tune with the latest "it" bags and designer goods...and since I have NO RESTRAINT when it comes to shopping, my bank account is pretty pitiful. Thank goodness I've had a great job for a couple years and a great offer, otherwise I might be living out of my bbags (literally).

aww that's hard! i always feel like with those things, if its meant to be you'll get through it. How long have you been togehter? I want this thread to turn into helping eachother out! I kind of thought of it cause I was going through some issues with my boyfriend and when I go on tPF, it helps me get my mind off stuff and i feel like i have friends here who are more like me than some of my actual friends....i know its kinda weird!

My dbf and I are going through the same dilemma. We graduate in 3 weeks and if he doesn't get a job before then he has to move back home to Dallas. We have been dating for 2 years and are going to try and make it work. I feel like u just need to evaluate your relationship and go from there. Do what makes you happy, I know this sounds corny but if it's meant to be it will. Just stay positive and enjoy what time you have left.
