Balenciaga at Home Depot
Out in the garden department, I saw a crunchy granola mom with a fuchsia Balenciaga - sorry don't know styles, but it had a long strap she wore across her body. It's the first time I've seen a Bbag in public *ever*! I immediately said, "That's a Balenciaga...and it's real!" She was like, "Uh, yeah, whatever." I told her I love me some bags and the color of hers was TDF! You would think she would get excited over meeting a fellow bag lover. The Home Depot worker asked her if it was real leather, LOL! I had my Botkier black patent Sasha. I wanted to show her mine since she showed me hers, lol. I guess it was just another bag to her, cuz she just went on her merry way without even a glance. (insert sad face here - sniff!)

It sounds like she was carrying a Magenta Messenger Bag. Too bad she couldn't have been a little nicer to you. Some people are either rude, or clueless!!!! Don't give her another thought~

funny. I was in Dillards today and the cosmetics girl commented on how pretty my bag was and loved the color, then she asked if it was a Balenciaga and where did I get it! NO ONE where I live ever knows what a bal is. I couldn't shut up talking about bals to her, I'm sure she probably thought I was nuts! How can you not talk about them when someone asks????????

I've only run into two people wearing Bals, and both were Days...I shared and learned the life history of each of our bags, where they came from, which others we had, how we protect them..and on and on...
Sounds like the OP's lady was very odd, or may not have had a clue that her bag was special. Clearly she doesn't hang out here!!

 BUT IF YOU STOP AND LOOK AT MOST GALS AND THEIR BAGS, THEY REALLY DON'T SEEM THAT INTO THEM? IT'S MORE OF A CATCH ALL THAN A TREASURE ON YOUR ARM!  THE OTHER DAY MY HUBBY AND I HAD TO GO DOWNTOWN TAMPA AND ALL OF THE WOMEN ON THE STREET WERE LOOKING AT MY GSH RAISIN PT. I DON'T KNOW WHETHER IT WAS BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT LOOKED GOOD OR I LOOKED RIDICULOUS WITH A PURPLE BAG! IT WAS LOUD AND I WAS PROUD!
