Anyone else waiting for EB Giant Day?

I've been waiting for the EB Giant Day combo since I saw the first pics of the EB with GH..the main collection is starting to trickle in but still no news about this one

I think BalNY has one or two pieces but is that all for the EB Giant Day?

I got mine yesterday and am deciding if I should keep it. I got it from BalNY. The color is pretty, but I thought it would be more outstanding. And the leather is smooth and silky but not thick like my jaune. What kind of leather did you get rollergirl and from where? I was told that this was representative of the giant EB's that they got in.

actually the leather of EB this years was thin...so far that's what i have heard. the color also varies. i don't care thick/thin leather...but i do care about the consistence of the appearance of leather - color/texture. it is a lovely color...i got a work waiting for spring to come so i can take her out.

mischka - try calling other places...maybe the wait list is too long?? good luck!!

I got mine from a small boutique, and I really like it. The color is saturated and deep. The leather isn't terribly thin or thick, but more in the middle. The texture is nice, not veiny. Here's a picture I took (not a great one, sorry) for someone else, comparing a FB wallet and an EB makeup bag. Just know that the FB wallet is not the same color as my FB bag, but is a lot more like the EB. I had committed to take this bag, so I was really relieved and happy to see it. Some of the EB bags I've seen in department stores were a lot duller and less saturated with sort of not so great leather. I think this is a pick and choose season with a lot of variation,

I'm obviously a FB/EB fan. I think both are great colors, though they are closer than I had expected.

I'm not on the list in BalNY but I was contemplating on asking a friend to go there and purchase one for me.

Do you have a picture of your EB Giant Day lorrmich? I was hoping the EB Giant Day would have the same leather and color saturation as this Giant CP I came across somewhere online..

Here's a better picture of my EB Day. The leather isn't as thick as my EB giant coin purse, but it is a little darker and deeper in color. It's just my impression, but I don't think the majority of bags this time around have that thick, smooshy texture of a lot of the '07 bags. Some of the accessories like CP's and makeups, yes, but bags, only sometimes. Some of the leather is really nice, though, especially if you're used to 2005 leather. It doesn't bother me if it's a little thinner, but that's just me. I have had bags I really liked of every variation. I wanted this color with SGH, since that wasn't an option with FB, so I'm happy.
