Default Anthracite 08 owners - need advice

I just purchased a new anthracite 08 (charcoal colour) in a Hobo GSH style which I love, but, after only one day of touching and handling, its veining which I don't mind, but the veins look really light against the rest of the bag - is this normal? I'm just worried that its only been a day, and whether if the whole bag will end up being veiny resulting in a lighter grey coloured bag. The edges of the zips (where the sealant is) also appears to be changing to a lighter colour like the veins.

does anyone with the new anthracite has this happen to them?

Hi Happy Chica ... I am probably going to get the same style you bought - Anthracite 08 with GSH (remember this from another thread :) - would you mind posting me a photo if possible? I am a bit concerned if the leather tends to be veiny and cracked looking, as i like it very smooth and non-veiny.

thanks :)

hi happychica - the anthracite leather is so pretty though isn't it? I'm just concerned over time, the bag will look so much lighter due to the veining. I'm now wondering if i should exchange it for the black Hobo with GSH - the leather on that was so soft and smoushy as well.

anyone else with the new anthracite?

Lightening of the Anthra 08 will not be an issue to me as I actually prefer a medium Grey than a dark one. Here is my Anthra City

chinkee - your bag is gorgeous! from the lighting on the photo i can't really see veins that prominently - are the veins on your bag much lighter? esp the veins on the bigger creases on the bag?

^^Actually, not at all. The veins are pretty thin and not light in color, it doesn't make the bag look light grey. Pretty much evenly veined throughout the whole bag.

Default What's wrong with my Anthra?

okay so after wearing my anthra work for a week..the light veiny parts get really worse!!! You can see from the pics that I attached that you can spot it right away...they are not scuffs but look like scuffs!!!

I'm so disappointed...I thought she was a true beauty...My other Bal bags are not like that at all..they don't have lighter veiny parts anywhere!!! I wonder what's wrong with the anthra?

Has anyone's Bal bags look like this too?!?!?!? Either Anthra or other color?

I think that bag looks great! I still have my heart set on Argent, but 08 Anthra really draws me in!
