I finally got to see all the Balenciaga styles and colors in real life!! First I went to Fashionphile and fell in love with Seafoam and saw my first Part Time and Work. Then on to Barneys to see the new colors and they had a magenta purple that was not Pourpre or Raisin and the SA said it was in fact Magenta...maybe a Barneys LE? They also had Lilac and a very bright Orange and some spring colors. I felt my first Agneau and saw the pom pom and all the clutches....so exciting! Has anyone else seen the Magenta from this year?

I am not aware of 2009 has Magenta. Did you get a chance to read the paper tag? Could it be 08 Amethyst?

Maybe she did not know what she was talking about, but she told me it was a new color and called Magenta. They only had it as a money wallet, a pom pom or a brief. It was really pretty! I will try to go back on Sunday and take pictures and see the tag...but the SA said it just came in.

Maybe that is the new pink, which might happen to be more magenta in colour?

i remember Tokyo mentioned there was a LE magenta for Japan in Barney's, I think.

But I thought it was just a LE for 5th year anniversary of Ginza Barney, I thought?

Barneys Japan 09 LE Light Magenta City

It was quite rich and bright, like a true Magenta. I think darker than Light Magenta. I looked all the 2009 and 2010 colors on the reference page and didn't see it. I really think maybe a LE? It was very pretty! It was at the Beverly Hills Barneys if anyone wants to ask and it comes in a brief and an envelope clutch and the SA said it was actually called Magenta

I saw this color too. At Barney's Shinjuku. The SA told me it's for some sort of special anniversary. Sorry my Japanese isn't that good. It's definitely on the Magenta side. I've never seen Magenta, but this's a liiiiitle bit darker than Pale Magenta.

I see they have the RH City one.

I never made it back! I was only in CA for a few days and couldn't get back....but maybe I will call tomorrow and figure it out! It looked just like 05 Magenta to me
