Would you guys get an 07 Violet SGH Brief or the new Raisin SGH Midday????

I'd go for the 07 Violet Brief. Colorwise, I like Violet more than Raisin, and 07 chevre leather is excellent. Do you prefer one style over the other? Here are some great purple comparison threads:

How is RAISIN similar to VIOLET, SAPPHIRE OR EGGPLANT (if at all)...

I do like the Brief better but as for the color I prefer Raisin. So I'm really torn!

I would go for the Violet. The Violets always seem to have amazing leather!

I prefer the brief AND chevre (generally) so no contest for me.

What is the leather like? Choose the one with the better leather.

I like the shape of the mid-day much much better than the brief. So I would say raisin mid-day!

Violet has been know to fade, so even if it is pristine when you buy it, the potential is there for fading and discoloring. The newer leathers don't have any fading yet, but that doesn't mean they won't. Personally, I love both the Brief and Midday equally!

this particular brief has agneau leather! but it looks good though..!

I prefer Midday more than Brief in SGH...
And violet is really similar in color with Raisin.
If you like both styles equally then I will go with the one with better leather.

Between the two, i'd go for the violet SGH Brief..i like the slim style of it yet carries a lot

I LOVE BOTH COLORS BUT I'M NOT A FAN OF THE MID DAY. THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT THE THICKNESS AT THE TOP THAT BOTHERS ME.

Agree completely - my Violet faded to red in just a few months.
