do you guys know what season they come out with a red city...i want the real tomato red type and not the burgundy/maroon kind of red.

and any sales out there for the red one i should look out for? :)

You might also try eBay and Bonanzle but they're obviously not as reputable as the approved sellers listed in the link above. If you decide to go this route, please always have the bag you're thinking of purchasing authenticated by the experts in this sub-forum first

Hi, here's a list of colors Balenciaga has made. Please also see **The Red Club** and Red Color Family- PICS ONLY!!! for pictures documenting all the different shades of red Bbags come in.

If you like Tomato, you might also like 05 Rouge Theatre. It's older so harder to find, but RT is really stunning. It's darker, but still a very rich red. 06 Rouge Vif and 07 Vermillon are very nice as well. More recent reds include Ruby, which is a spot-on true red. Good luck deciding!

If you'd like a pre-09 red, your best chance is ebay, bonanzle, and online consignment stores (reputable ones are listed in the thread chloe provided).

thanks jira :) i actually plan to buy a brand new one...but the one online now is pomegranate which is more of a fuchsia type of red...does balenciaga ever repeat its colors? sorry i'm a balenciaga newbie

^ Nope, reds aren't repeated. There have been really similar reds, but they're all under different names. Black, white, and anthra are the only repeated colors to date.
