Hi Christine,

Your post listing all the Collection colors/styles that NM will have is gone (it disappeared along with the baby and the bathwater from Achtung! Balenciaga).

Can you please repost it?

Someone (Sandy?) called me "on behalf of Daphne" to let me know the perwinkle cities are in and to ask if I'm still interested (I ask to be notified before sending bags). I said I thought probably not based on photos I've seen but would be interested in seeing a pic. (which she said Daphne would send tomorrow).

Periwinkle looks like a very pretty color but maybe a bit "faded" for my tastes as I tend to prefer darker, richer colors (e.g., blueberry, cafe). I guess I'll just wait for the photo and decide based on that.

In the meantime, any additional photos or description of periwinkle would be greatly appreciated. Is it as light as BI or lighter than that (e.g., sky blue). What does it look good with?

i saw periwinkle today, it reminds me a lot like cornflower. same kind of distressing and it is not like BI. aquamarine is closer to BI than periwinkle.

Just a quick FYI for anyone on the fence about Aquamarine and thinking that if it sells out at BalNY it can be purchased from Aloha Rag- they are not going to be receiving the Aquamarine in any styles whatsoever. I thought I'd pass this along in case it affected someone's planning

I saw one with GH and it was georgeous! The color seemed almost like a faded denim (and the color is uneven) but it was also quite elegant. It's the prettiest GH bag that I've seen.
I'm looking forward to seeing it without the GH. It is a lighter color than BI, but perhaps more interesting, since BI is one tone. I would consider parting with my BI for this color. I didn't really notice much in the way of purple tones, but I was in a mall with artificial lighting.

I wonder about this too, as I prefer consistent saturated color.

Holts now has the new hobo and flat messenger styles in! They ordered the messenger in black and natural. The hobo comes in white and I don't know if they ordered other colours as well. HTH!

Even though Saturday (03-Mar) was a glorious day here in Boston, I "dragged"

myself to the Barneys NY/Chestnut Hill and then on Sunday (04-Mar) went to the Barneys NY/Copley Square. Here's the low-down:

1) BNY/Chestnut Hill (call Peter at 617.969.5354)

White Grande Matelasse - very pretty!! This would be just fab for the summer (no way am I even considering it as I'm a total slob who would manage to spill something [like a Bolognese Ragu] on it during my Italian holiday!)
French BlueGH City - absolutely beautiful!
Vert Gazon - First, Brief and Work
White GH Brief - this one is a real bright White
Lots of Wallets (Compagnon & the smaller versions) - but the best item is the Cobalt Coin Purse (the color is outstanding!)

2) BNY/Copley Place (call Paula at 617.385.3300)

French Blue Small Matelasse!!!!!! They had two of these - I wish I had a camera on me ... they were absolutely STUNNING!
Vert Gazon GH Part-Time - all I can say is WOW!!!
TONS of Wallets & Coin Purses - in all the great colors (Vert Gazon, Rouge Vif, French Blue ...)!!!

What I DIDN'T see ... Naturel (Peter told me that Barneys has completely SOLD OUT of this color!), Rouge Vermillon, Vert D'eau or the Marine (Navy) color. I was told that the Marine and Cobalt should be coming soon.
