Smile Sale?
Are there sales for Bal bags this holiday season? Online? IN stores? Does anyone know? :)

Bal rarely go on sale. Even if they do, they would be non-moto styles.

In Europe the moto style (except black) go on sale at the end of the season, but mainly in multi-brand boutiques, such as Matches or Browns, never the Bal stores. In some cases department stores like Selfriges or Harvey Nichols will discount current season colors as well, just because they don't like keeping old stock. You have to be there in person on the day the sales start and when the doors open, because they'll be gone within seconds. Stuff from Matches etc. can be found on their website, but again, if it's a popular item, they'll probably be sold in-store first.

I'm guessing if there are smaller invidual boutiques in the U.S. that stock Bal, they'll be more likely to discount bbags, just because these boutiques don't have the space to keep old stock.

argh, I wanted to wait until matches has their sale but now when slky mentioned that stuff from there goes quickly.. I don't know what to do anymore
At first I thought that if someone else takes the bag I want, too bad. But now.. I really really want it..

serene, if your bag is still available by the end of the year, perhaps you can call Matches a day before the sale and ask them to hold the bag for you. Sometimes they'll already ask for credit card details just so they know you're not messing with them, but won't charge you until the sale day. It does help if you're a frequent customer though. I've had Printemps and Harvey Nichols hold Bal stuff for me a day before sales as well although in both cases I actually went there in person. Good luck!

This is my first post in the Bal forum. Just discovered Prada and YSL and am now looking at Bal. The leather looks like heaven! Is BlueFly a source for authentic Bal bags? I've done a bit of research this AM, and am finding that online sales of this brand are very restricted.

Since I'm a newbie to Bal, any and all comments are welcome!

Does anyone know anything about sale in Paris? Printemps? Galeries Lafayette?

What kind of discount are we roughly talking about?

BlueFly sells authentic Bals, but their site rarely has the motorcycle line, and when they do, they disappear in seconds.

Here are many sources for bbags, both brick and mortar stores and on-line:
Reputable Stores Carrying Balenciaga

Enjoy and good luck!

50% off seasonal clothing/ready-to-wear. No discount on bbags, unless they are of a limited edition range (i.e. such as the previous season floral canvas bag). Then you're talking a 30% discount. The same discount applies to other non-moto Bal bags. The sales start around January and June each year.
