A twiggy in the US is about 1195USD, current exchange rate is 44.40Pesos=1USD.....so thats 53,058Pesos. Diabro prices are way over the current market price of bbags in the US.

^you also forget US sales tax :) unless you buy it through aloha rag. i'm fine with the prices considering i don't have to go through the trouble of traveling abroad for a bag.

True....Aloha Rag is usually the best way to go if you have relatives in the US that can send you the bag. Also, i think BalNY and some others dont charge sales tax if you have the bag shipped to another state within the US.

I think i saw a pic of you w your bag on another blog site.....if that is you, you look great with your twiggy!!! The yellow suits you

Just got back from GB5...heres what i remember they had-

bouton d'or city - very dry leather though
coral - step (not so great leather), city ggh, bucket type bag w ggh
e.b. - city w ggh (the leather was nice and loved the ggh w the e.b.)
pine green - twiggy
turquoise - city rh, city w giant hardware
black - envelope clutch, city w ggh, part time w ggh

The City w ggh was around 90k, the part time with ggh was 98k, step i think was 69k

has anyone ordered from aloha rag or any store abroad and had it shipped here (Pinas)?

It's really tempting to order from them but I'm just afraid it might get "lost" during shipping.

Thanks

Just bought a city in GB5 too..cities with RH is 71+...cities with GGH is 89 or 80+++. BTW, to those who bought, did they even give you a box? They just gave me a plain box so I'm going back to get the proper box. Twiggies are 59+. When I was there they didn't have much colors left anymore...s/s colors are almost gone. Cities I saw were Magenta GGH, Electric Blue GGH and Coral RH.

Me too!!! I'm so tempted to buy from Aloha rags, if anyone from the PI has any experience with buying from them kindly share!
I think the best place in asia to buy Bbags is still in Joyce HK, plus I read that there are new shops selling bbags there so more variety!!!
Sigh... would like to go to hk now...

hi ladies! Went to GB5 yesterday and was annoyed to find that everything was so expensive! I remember when I bought my bags in homme et femme, a city was 62,000, a PT was 68k. Lumipat lang ng GB5 sumobra naman ang price increase! =(

I second this.

Has anyone bought from AR and got it shipped here in the Phils? I want to know how much the duties and taxes will cost.

I wish I could just use my credit card and get it shipped to another address but I think it's not allowed in AR. They ship the bag to where the credit card gets billed. Boo!

Just came from Bal GB5. Nothing much there except for loud SS 08 colors. Saw BC City in perfo & covered giant hardware, green work (I think)

Didn't buy anything. They said there will be new stocks coming in September. Hope I'll get to take home something by then.

BTW if you accumulate Php 200,000 you'll get a discount on your next purchase. I'm not sure if the discount is 10 or 5. sorry for my messy info.
