Y = S/S 06

I have one just like and the color is almost identical to the 07 Paprika (with would be a F/W 07 "U" tag)

Is this Authentic??
I have a friend who wants me to sell this bag for her and she was given it as a gift a few years ago. She says there is no way it is not Authentic but I'm just not sure! I am pretty good when it comes to my bbags but I dont personally own any "firsts", I buy only "work/office" so I'm not sure about the strap and also, I prefer the really soft, squishy matte leather and this one seems a bit shiny! I did do some research and am pretty sure this is a 2004 and is the Rose color. If anyone could help me verify that it is indeed Authentic, I would SO appreciate it!! THANKS!!

Thanks HandbagAngel... I was doubtful of it but she really thought it was authentic! When I compared it with my bbags it just seemed to lack that amazing leather..and the the tassels seem a bit thin.
Is there other "faults" aside from the weird leather that scream fake?!
I like to think I am pretty good at spotting a fake and would NEVER carry one nor allow any of my friends to carry one! LOL!! As I said, I was doubtful about this one, but it did have a few things that made it somewhat believable!

The bales are wrong, the leather is wrong, the inner tag is wrong, and the handles are wrong. I am sorry. This is a really bad fake.

The First has a silver tag as of F/W 03. That's the biggest giveaway, I think.
