Ah, I see what you mean now. =P

The pic is blurred out at the back handle where the rivet lays, but I'm thinkin that this shot is too far away to show the rivet on that back handle anyways. The notches are fairly small and even when I look at a darker bag from further away, I cannot see the notches very clearly.

Could it just be the poor photo? Could you get more?

Everything else checks out on the bag.

^^ NP amac. Make sure you ask either nicole or robot in terms of the color of the 05 Olive bag, though.

Everything checks out on that bag, but my crazy mind thinks that it looks a lot like Anis. Haha.

I have no idea. The seller guarantees authenticity, but to be honest that really doesn't mean anything because I've seen sellers with blatant fakes saying they're authentic!

The weird thing was the bag was listed for 6 days and not one person bid on it. I was thrown off by that which is why I didn't bid either.

What looks off to you? For me it was the hardware -- the "cones" look brandished on top. The tassels also looked weird.

Thanks!

Well, most ppl wait until the very end to keep the price they pay a bit lower than if they were to bid right away. It's swooping on eBay.

I can see what you mean about the rivets looking brandished on the top, but that is natural (depending on how gentle you are with the bag) occurrence, especially if the bag is a few years old and has seen some use.

You're right about that authenticity guarantee tho, it means squat. =P

I don't know, the last pic of the bag throws me off but it could just be a very terrible picture or a really really broken in bag. Also, the bottom panel of leather is a different color entirely, but that doesn't necessarily mean that its fake...

The seller can't offer you any better pictures at all?

Pekie, the bag looks promising but the pics are terribly dark, I'd ask for some better ones!

not anis, that is an 04 color. take another look at that tag - aren't the numbers too far apart? isn't the A a little off? it doesn't look like BALENCIAGA font to me

I got it from a certifed consignment store that guarantee authenticity, but I was contacted by a very nice and sweet pfer which pointed that it's missing a "." between Balenciaga and Paris.

If anyone has any information, please help me out
Buru, I came back today to TPF and followed all the comments on your bag. Unfortunately I agree with LP and the others that said this is a fake. Not that my opinion means anything, but I feel that there are several things that are wrong on this bag.

I know Anis is an 04 color, I just thought that this bag looked a lot like Anis is all. Basically saying that I have never seen the Olive in person and wouldn't know if it is supposed to look that much like Anis.

The serial numbers look different than the newer production bags, but I thought that's what they used to look like? We need to get a better pic of the tag. I'll PM the OP of this auction to ask her to wait on bidding.

Other than that, I think that everything else checks out. What else do you see, nicole?

Let's do some detective work here... [ ;
