Hey, TOOOMZ,

Update - nothing, not even a reply! Are you still trying?

Had my share of trials with them...we'll see if it was worth it in the end.

I emailed Merlyn and she replied with the most current stock list and a credit card authorization form to place my order. To my dismay, the cc autho form she sent contained the info of another customer (address, cc number, etc.) I deleted the info asap. Their prices are great but is it worth it to risk my cc info to end up in the wrong hands?!

OMG!! Did you email her back and tell her that? I would think this would be really bad for their reputation.

OMG...good thing she sent it to an honest person.

Do you still have the list of what is available? Thanks!

WOW!!! I am also wondering about the left over stock, but their lack of responsiveness and potential carelessness, is turning me off...

She charged me 74 more than the price on the list. Maybe because of the flexible exchange rate. Even though, the price is still very good.

Hope it will be worth it in the end

I have a tempete SGH day on the way from Merlyn but I was given a tracking number for an item that was delivered in Jan 09?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I don't know. I'm not terribly phased by all the problems TBH but I am pretty chilled. I've had some terrible hair raising bag purchase experiences so it takes a lot to phase me now. Having said that I would be extremely upset about the cc information - that is why I have a second cc with a low credit limit for these sort of transactions.

Other things you might put down to timezones, communication/language barriers and the sales rush etc but cc information is a bit harder to excuse.

Personally though I have found Merlyn very polite (even when my cc bounced the first time ) and we have been in reasonably reliable regular communication. I'm not concerned about anything to date because I had a heads up on what to expect from tpf

Its a cost benefit thing - so long as the bag is fabulous it will be worth the savings to me of around $500!
