questions about the SHRUG

I'm starting to really like the Shrug (discontinued) style. It's sort of a funky cousin to the Day. Anyway, I've been searching the forum for pictures and I couldn't find any of what the flap looks like open. Does the bag close with a magnet or is the flap just sort of free-hanging? Is there a zipper on top or is the bag open? Also, what's the drop-length of the handle? It doesn't look as slouchy as the Day...

Hope someone can help me out!

The Shrug is very nice. Smaller than the Day bag though. It was the bag style that made me fall in love with Balenciaga. I had it in 05 Magenta & 06 Emerald and wore them to death. I recommend the Shrug!!! The flap closes with a magnet snap and it's not as droopy as the Day. It doesn't hang as low as the Day either.

I love the shrug!

It's one of my favorite styles, next to the city. It's very comfortable to wear, and the drop length is about 6". As KDC mentioned, it closes with a magnetic strap. I find it very easy to get in and out of, and can slip my hand through the opening at the top on either side of the strap to grab my phone, etc (if I don't feel like opening it by the flap). On the other hand, this easy access may have deterred others from buying this style (especially when pick-pocketers are concerned), but my solution is to just wear it on my shoulder and hold it close to my body.

It's a discontinued style so it's pretty hard to find. It's one of my HGs now... hopefully one will turn up on RDC.
