Pics of FW 08 Changes: mirror, silver tag, anything else?

Can anyone with a new FW 08 bbag post pics of the changes we are seeing this season?

The mirror is now a different size and no longer has the back 'pocket'
The silver tag no longer reads '925' possible denoting that it is no longer made from true silver
Anything else?

No tassels, right?

The zip pocket is more deeper than the other year.

Isnt the inner pocket imbedded as well? its not gusseted like the older ones?

Oh extra tassels from bal are, $7 for one pair, $11 for two! I bought some recently for my truffle WE!

With the prices we spend on BBags, the tassles should be an automatic with the bag!

i am sorry but the quality has really gone down for '08 i love the black cherry color it reminds me of '04s marron, which i have been lusting over for years however when i felt the leather it was like sandpaper
AND the prices have gone up i know it is the economy and we are lucky it is only $100 however i would rather spend the money on an older bbag with better leather

I am pretty much done with my collection and nothing in the new batches makes me want to change my mind (unless I didn't already have 05 Magenta and I would def get an Amythest!!)

That said...

Does anyone have pictures documenting the changes though??

i would normally have instinctively snapped up the sapphire city since i love the blue-ish tone to it, but with all these factors.. i.e leather, tassles, etc etc... i'm REALLY having 2nd thoughts..

I was looking at the bags at Nordstrom today and it seems like the lacing used on the handles is slightly thinner than in past seasons. The SA and I were comparing some of the spring bags with the new fall ones and we both felt this was the case. I thought the handles felt a little different and now I know why. Am I nuts or has anyone else noticed this?

Btw, there is still some great leather to be found--some bags feel rough but I've also seen a couple of especially chewy, pillowy bags reminiscent of the old school leather.

I'm not sure if this applies to all styles, but the GH PT in fall colors no longer have feet.

Valerie, I agree about the handles, they felt different when I first carried it and I couldnt figure out why until I read your post. I still wish they came with the extra tassels. It seems incomplete without them...
