I just bought a ruby city at the hong kong balenciaga store. When I got home, I found that there is no extra tassels . I am wondering if extra tassels should be included with the purchase of 2008 bbag.

Starting 2008 F/W, all Bal bags don't come with extra tassels. You could buy extra tassels from the stores.

I know that the Part-Time DOES NOT have a Metal Tag, just leather. What I dislike the most about the '08 bags:

1) No pocket on the back of the Mirror
2) Part-Time bags - no more feet on the bottom

One change I do like - The larger pocket inside the Work!

mymy I know how you feel my city is 3 weeks old and 3 tassels have split! So much for making them better. I guess I have to call the store and BUY extra tassels...

I've just looked at my new argent twiggy, and flipped the mirror. I didn't notice until I read this post. Slow. Yep, no back pocket. I already knew that they'd swiped the extra tassels. Why do we have to order some extra tassels for more dollar$? And yet, Balenciaga have pushed up their prices. This is not good service. Do they really want to allienate their fans?

Yup,
you're absolutely correct. My twiggy has the imbedded pocket, not the traditional gusseted pocket. The gusseted pocket showed real crafstmanship and attention to detail, as opposed to this much simpler style. Somehow, I think it's got something to do with cutting costs, maximising profits. How can they justify raising prices if they're compromising on quality? Boo! Not cool

The tassels on my 08 city split after 2 weeks! I called BalNY yesterday and ordered more. Unbelievable, $1300 bag and I have to pay for new tassels...
